Ambrose Evans-Prichard wrote a lot about this in his book "The Secret Life of Bill Clinton." This is a good book to read because it has about 7 chapters on the bombing.

I looked at what was posted and can understand why he was banned. I wouldn't have banned him, but that is not because I agree with him.....basically he said Bush sr. covered it up and that Bush jr. is also. If he would have simply said Bush needs to let the truth out, there would have been no prob, but he went further than that. In any case, I still would not have banned him solely due to the numerous good posts he does have. Oh well. What can one do? I can still read what he has over on other forums (and disregard the rants on Bush that occasionally come out; I always have anyway).

Your theory is quite plausible, and it would explain much of the administration's action (and inaction) concerning Iraq. But if what you're suggesting is true and Iraqi sleepers have anthrax here in the U.S. all ready to spread the disease if we so much as lift a finger against the Hussein regime, and as a result of this the Bush administration has concluded that the risk of initiating regime change in Iraq is too high, then why are making all this noise about going to war with Iraq? It's political suicide for Bush to beat the drums of war and then back off (and I don't think we're going to back off). So it follows that either A) we've decided that the risk of being anthraxed is not as great as the risk of inaction, or B) we've concluded that Saddam is bluffing (even though he may have been responsible for the post 9/11 anthrax attacks).

FWIW, OKCSubmariner's banning has never set well with me- he may have pushed the envelope, but his dogged investigation was something we need to see more of.

Complaints that his final posting here was "unsourced" are pretty stupid. What is almost always really unsourced is the reeking garbage put out by the mainstream media. Today, that garbage is the only real standard here. I find it odd that the neocons can shriek about media bias when their tin gods are being roasted in the NYT but they'll insist that anything posted here comes from just such a source or it's "fringe stuff".

If it isn't in the Compost, the LA Slimes or the "newspaper of record" it isn't real to the button mashers who hounded Patrick off of FR. Nevermind that they'll be shrieking like little girls the next time those same sources are saying that one of their idols has feet of clay.

If this proves to be another FBI coverup, then this would definitely raise questions about the Vince Foster case. I remember the liberal mantra back then was that the FBI wouldn't lie to us about the Foster (or other) case. Apparently the FBI has been involved in a lot of coverups, including the OKC case. And we also need to check into the TWA 800 case and the siege of WACO. I just wish books on these topics would be written. Mark Fuhrman is supposedly planning a book on the Foster case. I sure hope he starts work on it soon. The day it is published, I'll be at the bookstore at opening time to buy me a copy.

Unban him then, for we are not a monarchy, and any real American can speak up to our President, and moreover should if he has cause to. Mr. Briley certainly appears to have the cause to do so.

And you should consider your own loyality -- for, again, our goverment's charter begins "We the People", and our federal government and it's chief executive are OUR agents, not we their subjects. You cut it close, youself, for a dalliance with monarchy that is most un-American.
