Eric Roberts is an IDIOT! (Vanity)
Greeblie.com ^ | 10/08/2002 | Dave Worley

Posted on 10/08/2002 10:26:39 AM PDT by Greeblie

Listening to Eric Roberts, the latest Hollyweird stooge to jump on the "Hate Bush" bandwagon, was hilarious! This guy is a total waste of breathing air! He is without a doubt a person with no great intelligence, but then you don't have to be smart to be a Hollyweird celebrity, you just to have a look looking corpse. He parroted every bogus conspiracy crap that has ever been put to the web, including "It's only for the oil!", the "Carlisle Group conspiracy!", and the "Saddam is not as evil as Bush!" loony-left ignorance. Mr. Roberts was unable to give a clear, coherent answer to any question put to him by David Asman, but was only able to read from his talking points paperwork, no doubt downloaded from some "indymedia" web site or maybe from Rob Reiner and BABBS herself.

Why is he doing this? Here's the real deal! He's got himself stuck in a insipid, un-funny new sitcom, pretending to be a news anchor and now he thinks he's a real political commentator. He's a IGNORANT MORON who needs to shut his mouth and go do what he does best, pretend to be other people.

From the way these actors portray themselves in movies and TVs you would think that they might actually have some substance behind them. But in most cases there is nothing really there. It's just an empty shell performing for the camera. When you really get inside their head, there's nothing there, just the light shining in from the holes in their face on the back of their empty skull. Eric Roberts is one of these people, Harrison Ford is another.

Why anyone would look up to these hollow faced idiots is beyond me.

He's the brother of Julia Roberts, but with about one quarter of the talent. Usually plays bad boys and villians. He's just got a new sitcom ("Less Than Perfect")that hasn't even been shhow yet, but has been thoroughly trashed by all the reviewers.

by David Asman...

David Asman again? This guy has the "magic touch" for getting celebrities to implode on camera. I see a FOX show for this guy in the near future, but have yet to determine whether it should be "news" or "comedy". Another nice job by Asman - LOL!

Eric and Julia are very talented people.  They each can cause me to break out in hives with only a limited exposure.

He's a sickening freak who's mannerisms and looks irk me from the moment he goes on screen to the moment he goes off screen.  Julia's mannerisms are at least tolerable until she decides to grace us with that insipid smile and that hyena like laugh.

I don't fault either of these individuals for exploiting the public's duh factor.  As for their intellectual prowess, I think the nobel is safe for the moment.  Course if they write a leftist book full of tripe, who knows.

The FOX guy did exactly the right thing...the intro called him "Julia Roberts' brother". Nothing makes him madder or cuts him deeper. He hates her.

I'd love to know where he got the material he was reading from, since the info was totally out of date. The bin Laden family removed themselves from the Carlyse Group a few years ago and Osama's father disowned him in the 80's.

Nice work, Eric...you do Hollywood proud.

I loved Best of the Best and my wife and I were discussing how horrible Julia is the other day I thought surely that her brother had more sense; afterall his career was an absolute wreck which gave me the impression he didn't share the hollywood line.

Now suddenly he has a sitcom on ABC and he's touting Hate the Bushes conspiracies as fact. Coinkydink?

I do love Fox though. After I watched that other idiot on CNN say the exact same stuff and the announcer was saying things like "Interesting, and why do you think he would do that?" -- at least they don't get softballs to quacks on Fox.

KINDA swishy in some of his old movies which is all I've seen. AlGore swishy. Both are prolly 100% heterosexual but still come off swishy. Like when AlGore cracked up laughing when asked why he wasn't wearing his wedding ring.

About 15 years ago, during the cocaine rage, Eric Roberts was arrested in NYC, buck nekkid, banging on the apartment door of someone who didn't know him from Adam, babbling incoherently. Apparently he's dressing now.

I saw him today on Fox News Channel. I started to get angry, then I started loving it. He was woefully unprepared, he started reading from a script, to the point where he was holding it up and reading it on camera. And what he was saying was off-base and out of touch with most Americans.

I enjoyed the fact that Fox let him hang himself on air. He looked like an utter boob, and the more people like him spout, the better--it'll make the Conservative case for us by default!

Keep yammerin' Eric, PLEASE!

Harrison Ford is a total environmental wacko - despite the fact that he owns something like 25 motorcycles and 10 airplanes - who thinks we all should live "natural" lives but of course, he shouldn't have to. He's also a total peacenik and was totally against the Gulf War. Even we won the war he said he was appalled at people lining the streets to support our troops upon their return. He thought it was disgusting to see people supporting a military campaign.

Ford's a loser. He's also a scumbag who has now deserted two wives, with their young children, for someone younger.

When did Ford voice support for Bush? I think you may have the wrong guy in mind.

Speilberg and Tom Hanks gave tactic support. Speilberg actually said the best thing when he acknowledged that he doesn't have near the information that the President of the US has, so how can he really make an opinion other than to trust the people with the information.

When I think of her and Richard Gere (sp? - eh who cares) in Pretty Ugly Woman, I reflect back on his career. What has the guy really done? He's appeared in a bunch of mostly flop movies of very little import. Now he's considered to be among the gods. His comments at that 09/11 event last year revealed him to be totally lost in space. I gotta ask ya, if someone were to gather the whole Hollywierd crowd together and nuke em, what would be lost nationally? I don't wish harm to any of them, but would have to acknowledge that in their absense this nation would probably be better off.

"Harrison Ford declared support for President George W Bush's right to defend America as he saw fit; Liam Neeson accused the President of behaving like a spoilt child; Barbra Streisand urged Democrats to put up stronger opposition to the hawks; and John Travolta admitted that he did not know what to think."

About par for the course for Travolta.

Actually I thought it was funny when Gore laughed at that question. To be sure the answer was going to be embarassing for him. He'd gained so much weight that once he got it off, he couldn't get it back on. Gore was actually laughing at himself, knowing he was going to have to come clean. And you know what, I found that to be one of the most likeable things I'd seen him do over the years.

Eric is a very strange guy. A good actor , but strange. Lots of drugs for a time, some nastiness to women, and a character that even his bigger star sister Julia Roberts can not stand. I believe they have not talked to each other in years.

He is a member of the Hollywood Looney Left, that dopey clique that has to annoy the rest of us with insipid dumb political comments.
