Sensation: Cities Found on the Moon!
Pravda ^

Posted on 10/08/2002 12:36:29 PM PDT by Junior

Reasonable activity of an alien civilization showed up unexpectedly close to us. However, we were not psychologically ready for it

We still come across publications trying to find an answer to the following question: Are we alone in the universe? At the same time, the presence of reasoning beings has been detected close to our home, on the Moon. However, this discovery was immediately classified as secret, as it is so incredible that it even might shake the already existing social principles, reports Russia's newspaper Vecherny Volgograd.

Here is an extract from the official press-release: “NASA scientists and engineers participating in exploration of Mars and the Moon reported the results of their discoveries at a briefing at the Washington National Press Club on March 21, 1996. It was announced for the first time that man-made structures and objects have been discovered on the Moon.” The scientists spoke rather cautiously and evasively about these objects, with the exception of an UFO. They always mentioned that the man-made objects are possible, and stated the information was still under study and official results will be published later.

It was mentioned at the briefing as well that the Soviet Union used to own some photo materials proving the presence of such activity on the Moon. And, although it wasn’t identified what kind of activity it was, thousands of photo- and video materials from the Apollos and the Clementine space station showed many parts on the lunar surface where this activity and its traces were perfectly evident. The video films and photos made by US astronauts during the Apollo program were demonstrated at the briefing. People were extremely surprised why the materials hadn’t been presented to the public earlier. NASA specialists answered: “It was difficult to forecast the reaction of people to information that some creatures had been or still are on the Moon. In addition, there were some other reasons to it, which were beyond the control of NASA.”

Specialist for lunar studies Richard Hoagland says that NASA is still trying to alter photo materials before they are published in public catalogues and files. They do some retouching or are partially refocussing them while copying. Some investigators, Hoagland is among them, suppose that an extraterrestrial race had used the Moon as a terminal station during their activity on the Earth. These suggestions are confirmed by the legends and myths of different nations of our planet.

The ruins of lunar cities stretch for many kilometers. Huge domes on massive basements, numerous tunnels, and other constructions cause scientists to reconsider their opinions concerning the Moon. How the Moon appeared and principles of its revolving around the Earth still pose a great problem for scientists.

Some partially destroyed objects on the lunar surface can’t be placed among natural geological formations, as they are of complex organization and geometrical structure. In the upper part of Rima hadley, not far from the place where the Apollo-15 had landed, a construction surrounded by a tall D-shaped wall was discovered. As of now, different artifacts have been discovered in 44 regions. The NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the Houston Planetary Institute are investigating the regions. Mysterious terrace-shaped excavations of rock have been discovered near the Tiho crater. The concentric hexahedral excavations and the tunnel entry on the terrace side can’t be the results of natural geological processes; instead, they look very much like open cast mines. A transparent dome raised above the crater edge was discovered near the crater Copernicus. The dome is unusual, as it is glows white and blue from the inside. A rather unusual object, which is unusual indeed even for the Moon, was discovered in the upper part of the Factory area. A disk of about 50 meters in diameter stands on a square basement surrounded with walls. In the picture, close to the rhomb, we can also see a dark, round embrasure in the ground, which resembles an entry to an underground caponier. There is a rectangular area between factory and the crater Copernicus, which is 300 meters wide 400 meters long.

Apollo-10 astronauts took a photo (AS10-32-4822) of a one-mile long object called "Castle," which is at the height of 14 kilometers and casts a distinct shadow on the lunar surface. The object seems to consist of several cylindrical units and a large conjunctive unit. The internal porous structure of the Castle is clearly seen in one of the pictures, which gives the impression that some parts of the object are transparent.

As it turned out at the briefing where many NASA scientists were present, when Richard Hoagland had requested originals of the Castle pictures for the second time, no pictures were found at all. They disappeared even from the list of pictures made by the Apollo-10 crew. Only intermediate pictures of the object were found in the archives, which unfortunately don’t depict the internal structure of the object.

When the Apollo-12 crew landed on the lunar surface, they saw that the landing was observed by a half-transparent, pyramidal object. It was hovering just several meters above the lunar surface and shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow against the black sky.

In 1969, when the film about astronauts travelling to the Sea of Storms was demonstrated (the astronauts saw the strange objects once again, which were later called “striped glasses”), NASA finally understood what consequences such kind of control could bring. Astronaut Mitchell answered the question about his feelings after his successful return: “My neck still aches as I had to constantly turn my head around, because we felt we were not alone there. We had no choice but to pray.” Johnston, who worked at the Houston Space Center and studied photos and video materials made during the Apollo program, discussed the artifacts with Richard Hoagland and said that the NASA leadership was awfully annoyed with the great number of anomalous, to put it mildly, objects on the Moon. It was even said that piloted flights to the Moon might be banned.

Investigators are especially interested in ancient structures resembling partially destroyed cities. Photos reveal an astonishingly regular geometry of square and rectangular constructions. They resemble our cities seen from the height of 5-8 kilometers. A mission control specialist commented on the pictures: “Our guys observed ruins of the Lunar cities, transparent pyramids, domes, and God knows what else, which are currently hidden deep inside the NASA safes, and felt like Robinson Crusoe when he suddenly came across prints of bare feet on the sand of the desert island.” What do geologists and scientists say after studying the pictures of lunar cities and other anomalous objects? They say that such objects can’t be natural formations. “We should admit they are artificial, especially the domes and pyramids.” Reasonable activity of an alien civilization showed up unexpectedly close to us. We were not ready for it psychologically, and some people hardly believe they are true even now.

... those on a need to know are the only ones who know. And sometimes literally, those are the only ones who know. But in terms of these topics, many people know and many people talk.

Ah ha! But did it ever occur to you that them that knows ain't talking, and them that talks don't know?

Excellent example of Pravda's reporting.

The two largest newspapers in the Moscow of the pre-Gorbachev era were Pravda and Izvestia. "Pravda" is the Russian word for "truth" and "Izvestia" for "news". A common saying amongst Russians of that era went, "There is no Pravda in the Izvestia and no Izvestia in the Pravda!"

I've had a . . . some might say noiser than life; other's larger than life; others stranger than life; others more emotional than life--life--all my life.

It's part of the given. I can turn the volume down or up but the given doesn't really go away. So, mostly, especially in such contexts, I just enjoy being more or less me. Some tolerate. Some mock. Some ignore. Some even enjoy and tell me so privately. I think that's life--probably even for more conventional, saner folk.

BTW, the timeline I sort of half-heartedly hypothesized a few decades ago has seemed to march onward perhaps even faster than I speculated at times. Don't see as how I should abandon such hypotheses after so much confirmation over 3-4 decades.

I don't really care THAT much how many listen to me. I DO LIKE VERY MUCH TO ENGAGE FOR MY OWN LEARNING folk who share such perspectives and are willing to engage in meaningful iron sharpening iron dialogue about same.

And I prefer typing in shorthand of various kinds. I love diversity and variety and color. I plan to continue doing so. Make of it what you will.

Used to spend hours looking at photos. Surveyor pictures, Ranger pictures, Apollo pictures, everything. Still have an old NASA moon photo atlas. Hasn't been much new stuff except for Clementine, which I haven't seen. Would have looked at that, too.

I use aerials and satellite images in my day job, BTW. Would be great to have a fresh set of high-quality images of the moon similar to what the Mars Global Surveyor and the new Mars recon satellite are providing. I look at that material, too, especially interesting since we may be going there in a few years.

Seems to me that if there are billions of sunlike stars in the universe then the likelyhood of life somewhere else besides earth is likely, scientifically speaking. The best place to look for evidence for extraterrestrial visitors would be on Mars or the moon because they're close enough to study and they don't have the weather patterns to destroy evidence quickly as the earth does, especially the moon. No need to worry about something being discovered to be a hoax since there's been no humans there for 10,000 years at least. A piece of evidence on the near side of the moon should remain intact for millions of years. If there's been anyone hopscotching through the Milky Way in the last billion years, the moon would be the best place to find their "tracks".

Going to the moon again in a few years. . . should be interesting.

I wonder, what does one such as you with your perspective make of the verse in the Bible where God talks about bringing man back down even if he makes his nest among the stars.

Am also curious, assuming, humoring me perhaps excessively for a moment or 3--pretend you turn out wrong about ET's, the moon, Mars, UFO's. What do you expect your response to be were you to finally have to admit that to yourself?

I stopped reading right there. Richard Hoagland is a quack and a half.

I walked in on a Hoagland presentation at the University of Washinton around 8 years ago, and this lunar civilization thing was the main topic of discussion. It was a week before the comet - I forgot the name of it - was to smash into Jupiter, and Hoagland predicted (with almost 100% certainty) that the comet was to enter the Jovian atmosphere at some sacred geometrical angle and as a result was going to blow the planet to pieces. I laughed out loud, but everyone else in attendence was taking this ridiculous prognostication with deadly seriousness. Hoagland looked at me like I was the Devil Himself.

Well, as we all know, that comet broke into a dozen or so pieces and created huge (and well photographed) explosions, but Jupiter remained intact.

His case for the moon was similiarly looney, and all the stuctural evidence for civilization he attempted to show in the NASA photos completely escaped my notice (and I have a good eye). However, the ultra-impressionable crowd in attendance "saw" the evidence he presented no problem. The mass gullibility was overwhelming, and scary as hell.

In late July-Aug of 1970, I think it was, after the lander touched down te commander kept refering to "boogies". The moon trips were still broadcast live on radio/TV at that time. I heard it on car radio, and have never heard it mentioned again by anyone. It looks as if some of the "pro-aliens on the moon" boys have been VERY cooperative in ignoring this bit of history!

BTW, I GATHER you consider MHGinTN in post #34 to be . . . playing loose with the truth--or his date to have been playing loose with the truth?

Because it's inconvenient to your truth?

Because you don't know them personally?

Because the benefit of the doubt is too costly in this case?

Because they were probably lying for recreation or profit?

Because she told him that to get him in the sack?

Seems to me the most plausible thing is that they were both telling the truth.

Oh, we all know that, do we, Mister Government Agent? Great cover story, IMHO, but how do we know that's really Jupiter up there or some clever CIA coverup? Hmm? That the real Jupiter wasn't blown to smithereens by the comet and the phony one put up there under cover of darkness...I mean, under cover of lightness during the day when nobody's looking? Do you know of Dick Cheney's whereabouts every single minute during the comet strike?

I've seen reports of that before. And of reports of the delayed interplay between ground and mission control supposedly decrypted by amateurs to show more such. One code word once was Santa Claus.

I wonder, what is it about folk hereon who are like millions of folk everywhere--they laugh and deride and claim decades ago that only hillbillies and drunkards believed in such stuff. Why there were no credible witnesses and never would be to hear them talk.

Now, we have more than 400 VERY CREDIBLE witnesses, many with very high military ranks and some with video and other proofs with them--ready to put their lives and retirements on the line by testifying--and THEY are blackwashed with the same brush the hillbillies were.

I guess it's more a commentary on the observers who like Jehovah Witnesses who kept changing the dates of the return--people will believe what they prefer to believe regardless of the evidence.

Still, it boggles my mind to just wipe 400+ quality, well placed, experienced many high ranking witnesses away with a swipe of their dismissive white gloved hand.

I will tell you what I expect. Although I have seen zero evidence of structures on the moon or Mars, not to my satisfaction, if it is found I expect it will be ours. A civilization that existed before our present civilization of record. It could have been less than 10,000 years ago, or it could be really old, up to 25,000 years ago. If things turn out otherwise I shall be surprised and amused. Considering that all of civilization back to Ur could have been relayed by word of mouth by an unbroken string of 50 to 100 people, all of civilization as we know it is fairly new, and we don't know much beyond that.

I certainly don't know that Hoagland's right or a saint or his farts don't smell. Haven't been to his lectures. Only looked at a relatively small percentage of his pics.

Some of the pics do look very much like buried cities in the sand and nothing less or else. And some of the purported third party measurements of some of the anomolies seem a little bit tricky to explain away with a quick cursory dismissive swipe of the bias.

I do believe that something vs nothing is going on in roughly those directions.

There are those who insist that WE as in USA have bases on the moon and on Mars and have had for decades. I won't be shocked if I find it's true but that's stretching it a bit for me.

Regardless, about Hoagland, to me, the DISCOVERY PROJECT with soooo many high ranking, very experienced, very successful scientist military types coming forward with secreted away [i.e. stolen] evidence putting their lives and retirements on the line. . . I don't think you can rationally sweep away several dozen, much less several hundred such folk with such a blind, biased dismissive hand.

Sure, photos were touched up for publication. Still are. If something important is being airbrushed out, the scam will be over if anybody ever goes back to the site in person. No, I don't think NASA would be so shortsighted as to try to scam the public on this.

The reason we didn't continue going to the moon is that there is no water, or none known at that time. Now there is the possibility of some, not a lot of water, just a few gallons here and there around the pole.

No, I don't think NASA would be so shortsighted as to try to scam the public on this.

THAT sounds like a pretty strongly faith based conviction. You have faith that NASA wouldn't do such a dastardly thing because they are so nice or patriotic or lack such stupidity or some such.

I think such an assumption is far too much faith on far too little evidence.

NASA did bring us the Challenger, remember.

And the gov has been dastardly in a long list of ways as most anyone working for it very long in any serious role would probably attest.

Once CINCPAC last minute vetoed a seal team blowing up a French merchant ship in Hanoi? harbor to make it look like North Vietnamese to give us a pretext of bombing Hanoi. I'm sure the list is endless. Guess I don't have much faith at all that NASA would avoid sealing whatever the powers that be told them to.

You could certainly be right. Certainly SOME of the photos seem like seeing shapes in clouds. You might if you try hard enough.

Others? Welllll, some are rather curious.

And the fractal analysis thing was seemingly a good point to me. How does one explain away that computer analysis with fractals?
