I've got to admit that as I sit here thinking about this, it does not seem quite believable. It doesn't really sound like the silent methodical killer we've followed for the last several days. Hope it's true - hope it's him - because if it is he just made his first mistake.

Yeah, but does that thought pattern really fit a ME man's? A tarot card would be a strange way for them to send a message, especially if there was any pretense of serving Allah. Same thing with claiming to be God. Yeah, some could claim its just a good cover, ala Taquiyya, but I don't buy that.

I'll stand my previous post, this pretty much rules out a foreign born terrorist. Whoever it is, is an American by birth, and really starting to fit the profile of a Hannibal Lechter(sp) nutjob.

Please Note: Although the Tarot was originally used to play a card game and the structure of the Minor arcana resembles modern playing cards, they are in fact two separate things. The cards from which modern playing cards are derived appeared in Europe some fifty years prior to the Tarot and are said to have originated from Islam.

If this is true, I would agree. I don't think the terrorists are into western style serial killer mind games --- 'here I am, come get me'. Also, I understand that a .223 shell casing was found near one of the sniper scenes. A terrorist could have left it behind in carelessness. A whackjob could have left it behind as a teaser. Im open on this one. But either way, the perp has to be expunged from the planet.
