Besides, I'm not so sure Bush would nominate people I would consider conservative.

Who's an example of a justice you consider conservative, and who among his judicial appointees so far do you consider not conservative?

Unfortunately, it's not something I have time to follow before the fact, so my thoughts have to be taken with a grain of salt. I'm certainly not posing as an expert on judicial temperament, but in general, I've found him to be somewhat accomodating to the libs more often that I would like. Whitman at EPA for example, and some of the policies of the Clinton departments still being pursued. Of course, with a charred earth mentality like mine, I'd never get into as high a position as he's been able to do.
