Australia is speculating that they may have been deliberately targeted in the attack on Bali. They are having a school holiday and more than 20,000 of them are on vacation on Bali at the present time.

They are dispatching aircraft to evacuate the island of Australians and the dead and wounded. They are mobilizing emergency service teams to get their people the help they need. There are dozens of serious burn victims and getting them to proper care is urgent.

They are talking to someone who is in Bali right now. They are watching graphic images on Bali TV. The Bali people are in shock. They say to expect the toll of dead and injured to go up. They are saying it is like a war zone.

One man is saying his theory is that it's a GAS explosion - actually 2 gas explosions. That is something new.
He thinks they are just too far away from the militants. (Though this is possible, he does sound to me like a liberal in denial).
