The hunt for the D.C. area's Psycho Sniper took two huge leaps forward yesterday, as sources revealed detectives have a video that may hold the maniacal mass murderer's face - and officials released a composite picture of a white box truck believed to be the cold-blooded killer's ride. A surveillance tape reportedly caught a suspicious person during Wednesday evening's attack on a 53-year-old engineer, who was killed in Manassas, Va., by the mystery gunman who police say has killed eight and wounded two in his spree.

The writer errs in assuming that because someone was interviewed who resembles a person on a surveillance tape it means that the police believe the killer to look like that particular person who was interviewed. The more likely explanation is that police, having a surveillance tape taken near the site of the shooting, were trying to find everyone on it to interview for more information about what they saw in that location around that time in the hopes of turning up some additional information.

While it's all terror.........One killer is probably a nutcase and maybe a terrorist. A team of two is probably organized terror and not two random nutcases. BTW, one reason he might be targeting gas stations is because the victims are usually still or motionless in one place at least for the time it takes to pump gas. This makes for an easier stationary target.

This can not be true. If there were a picture it would be all over the news and someone would immediately identify the shooter. Anything less would be irresponsible action by the police.

... unless the picture shows mid-eastern men. The police have tremendous pressure for this to be a "White Supremacist Militiaman." The picture has to fit the "story" they will release when they kill this sniper.
