The moment a country tries to rid itself of self proclaimed saviours of the world (islamic fundamentalist terrorists) they are accused of ethnic cleansing and the world community comes down on their head.

Have we forgotten what slick willie unleashed in Serbia with the help of our European brethren.

The legacy of clinton will be the deaths of millions around the world before this is solved, if ever.

Shows you the value of leadership.

It's strange to be backing a Laborite, but on the war and the U.S. alliance, Blair has been a stand-up guy.

al-Qaida has claimed credit for these crimes.

This is a gross exaggeration. Al Qaeda hasn't claimed any credit for 9/11 nor this sniper attack. The video tape of bin Laden praising the work of others can't be construed to be a claim of responsibility.

If you are speaking of evidence that Saddam has to go why don't you look at that referred to by Clinton four yrs. ago, that Bush has laid out, that Blair has laid out, that provided by Saddam's son-in-law who defected, that provided by other defectors from within the Iraqi intelligence and military. The U.N. inspectors were all warning about his programs four yrs. ago even Ritter. They are now saying that resuming inspections is likely a futile gesture now.

Of course, there is far more evidence that the Islamaniac killers are wrecking havoc across the globe and will continue to do so until dealt with.

You just don't like the evidence so pretend that it doesn't exist.

Alot of stuff here. The head of the Iraqi nuclear arms program said that even if Iraq had fissible material they don't have the expertise to build a bomb.

At any rate, Pakistan built and tested a bomb and have threatened to use it against India. We haven't discussed attacking Pakistan.

None of the information that has been presented offers any rationale why the US should be interested in an extended occupation of Iraq.

No one said anything about a long occupation. Saddam will be gone in a month.

Pakistan has not invaded another country, forced the United Nations to deal with it, or defied UN resolutions to allow inspections and a no-fly zone. Pakistan is not firing on U.S. and British overflights on a daily basis. This is a reason no new resolutions are required. Saddam is warring against us on a daily basis. Pakistan is cooperating in cleaning out these RATS.

I think you misunderstand me. Iraq HAS been the same threat for the last 10 years. A threat that should of been taken care of 10 years ago by taking care of Saddam. It wasn't and now we must go back again. I'm in full agreement of the war. I'm just in total disgust at the sheep we must convicnce in order to wage it.

Re #5

Did you notice how silent Schroeder is these days ? No public statement from him or Joschka Fischer. That is telling.

For the "intelligensia"-plagued French, the only thing that would get them to believe organized terrorism requires any action on their part would be a bombing in Paris - preferably the Eiffel Tower. The action that they would then prefer by a 2-to-1 margin would then be "to wave a white flag"... I wonder how they could possibly have developed a "resistance" element during WW2...
