This an excerpt from the DSA-related Star Tribune article and has also been published in several other publications:
"Jim Farrell, a spokesman for the Wellstone campaign, said Wellstone didn't know anything about the group (the DSA) and does not approve of any attempts to register illegally.
Farrell said the (Taxpayer's)league managed to fool talk-radio hosts into talking up the story on stations in the Twin Cities "without getting its facts straight.""
However since then I have found that, besides the Progressive Caucus connection:
Paul Wellstone has also spoken at the "Back to Basics Conference", a gathering heavily attended by DSA members.
The Political Director of the DSA (Chris Riddiough) has worked for the Wellstone campaign!
How the heck couldn't he know about the DSA? I think we caught him again!
