Anti-American Leftists Have Declared War on America! We Must Fight Back!
Yesterday it became clear that the anti-American leftists having lost in Congress are now going to try to attack America in other words including by attacking our military. This is war and we must fight back!
below I have assembled a list of traitors who should be looked into to see if they are leading the treasonous anti-war movement. I am sure there are more and FReepers should add to the list. If these people have done nothing more than spwe their anti-American garabage, they should not be punished of course but if they are leading the anti-American movements attempt to weaken this country by attacking our military as many of htem probably are then they should be treated as harshly as possible.
Furthermore we should keep in mind that leftists and Muslims outside of America are probably helping the terrorists. Bush needs to treat them with no mercy!

. . .good list for starters; and yes; put me on your 'ping' list.
We knew the last election was for the soul of America; and while we won the WH, we did not win the 'war'.
We also know, the Left will never give up and they are getting more desperate and hence more bold and brazen, outrageous in their tactics.
We also see, everyday how they empower America's real enemies. . .and we see that our Repubs still will not fight. . .

I can imagine Pat B being a lot of things. Traitor isn't one of them.
Am I behind the times? Has he had a heart transplant? Why is he on the list?

Bold of you to include the confused Liberals who think that they know Atlas shrugging, but I digress...
Here are some to add:
1. Steve Kirsch (Silicon Valley CEO, Communist, Goronista..)
2. All CEOs who put international business growth ahead of US interests and military strength
3. All CEOs who allow their companies to trade with and develop the strength of the PRC, Pakistan, and... here's the controversial one, the "former" USSR.
4. Bill Lockyer (California Atty. Gen'l and arch gun grabber.)
5. The entire City Government of San Francisco.
6. Robert Honda (pro-Axis of Evil traitor)
7. Barbara Boxer (ditto)
8. Mike Thompson (actually travelled to Iraq to give aid and comfort to the enemy)
9. Barbara Lee (An open Communist infiltrator of the Democratic Party - not that I like the Dem party, but breaking the oath of office is treason..)
I am sure I can think of some more!

The Buchanan's and the Falwell's are costing the GOP countless Independent/moderate votes at a critical time.

They signed a statement saying we shouldn't go after Iraq.
To: kristinn
I understand you want to defend them becaause at one point they were conservatives but they have become traitors.
To: adam stevens
You throw around the word traitor like Jesse Jackson does the word racist. You're way over the top with this.

He isn't over the top at all, if they don't support our war on terror, they help the enemy, thereby committing the trait.
To: ConservativeMan55
Anyone who equates Mumia with Buchanan and Novak is over the top.
There are those on his "List" that are enemies of this country, but to paint everyone who thinks we shouldn't go to war on Iraq with the same brush of traitor is ludicrous and infantile.

He does not support the war on terror. David Horowitz has written about this. Pat Buchanan is an isolationist from way back. You would thank that his clarion call for the U.S. to seal its borders post 9/11 would get him at least a smattering of applause on FR.
Further, Buchanan was always a conservative (Point/Counterpoint anyone?) Horowitz, while quite conservative today, was a radical leftist for years, now nursing a grudge becuse many of his former ilk (college faculty and students) don't want him speaking on campus.
Finally, to classify everyone into two groups by their stated support (or lack thereof) on the war on terrorism is lame at best, and at worst, calls up unpleasant scenes of death camp guards swinging their thumbs left and right.

I disagree with a whole lot of what Bush does and has to say, but, if the first amendment and the right to question our government aren't considered important by you, then what country are you protecting, exactly?
Does this make me a subversive?

Buchanan is right about the borders but it is stretch to call anybody who doesn't support the war on terror conservative. I don't what he is exactly but conservative he ain't.
To: kristinn
So what differences should I consider between people who don't want to defeat Saddam before he attacks America and people who don't want to defeat Saddam before he attacks America.

If it is a treasonous statement you are right!
To: adam stevens
This is a bit much. First off, you list Bonior and Gore as "communists" when they aren't, while Angela Davis - a
self-avowed Communist - is described as merely an "academic." Then someone wants to include people who have indicated their
support for the War on Terror, as Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise
have done. If you're going to compile an enemies list, at least don't make boneheaded mistakes.
Not that this list needed compiling, at least not for the purpose given. Did you give no consideration at all to how this looks?!? Everyone to the right of Hillary! knows that anything Noam Chomsky or Gore Vidal (or Algore, for that matter) says is worthy of profound skepticism. This list is therefore not only stupid, but totally un-necessary. When you post this a "a list of traitors who should be looked into to see if they are leading the treasonous anti-war movement", you are acting act the Left's worst fantasies about the Right.
When Hanoi Jane turned in the POWs who had hoped she'd send word back home that they lived, causing them to be tortured all the more, that was treason. Participating in pantywaist anti-war demonstrations and dissenting from the Administration's plans for Iraq is not treason. Have you forgotten that we are the ones who stand on the principle that the Bill of Rights means what it says? That includes defending the right of morons to freely assemble and engage in free speech.
We don't need to "look into" the twits who show up at those moronic rallies. They undermine themselves with their tired rhetoric, their warmed-over 60's-era slogans, and their lack of attention to basic personal hygeniene. Their written moanings are no better, filled as they are with contradictions, rank error, and blatant anti-Americanism.
But you undermine the Right by giving the Left ammunition with ill-considered, intemperate compositions like this.
Cordially,
C. Dodd Harris IV

This is hilarious. Not supporting the "war on terror" makes one a "traitor"? I find it decidedly more traitorous that one would be eager to send American boys to die by the thousands, choking on chemical weapons we gave to the "enemy". Your logic is absurd. "Commies"? Is this board a time warp back to the paranoid '50's? Communism is a specific economic system NOT favored by the vast majority of that list, though many do have socialist leanings and that's pathetic enough. I find it amazing how many of you are so brainwashed, I'm asking myself if this is a high-school political message board. No one here has any grasp whatsoever of the dynamics invoved in Middle Eastern politics - in short we're heading over there to wipe out Hussein for having weapons we supplied him with. There is NO evidence he's planning on using them against us.
To: adam stevens
I have. What you say is that this is a "list of traitors who should be looked into to see if they are leading the treasonous anti-war movement." I would say that anyone who believes people should be "looked into" because they disagree with a position of the party in power has no understanding of the idea that is America and is acting in a manner which is inherently anti-American.
This is a country that stands for freedom of speech and of religion, Adam. By extension, we believe in freedom of thought and of belief. I won't tell you not to think the way you do, but I will try to convince you that my opinion is correct. That's the America I believe in -- one that supports the idea that free people can disagree honorably and still call each other Americans. The day it changes, you can count me among those who will argue against it.
To: Nitpicker
I didn't argue denying these people their rights unless they are committing criminal actions to undermine the war on terror!
To: Paul Nice
That is just idiotic. You want to just wait for Saddam to attack us like Ossama did? In other words you think the lives of Americans are worth less than Iraqis.
