Talk about a weak straw man argument. Either, Or on YOUR Terms Huh?...LOL. I happen to think that we should not be IMPORTING Muslims into our country and that any vistors here on visas should be shown a quick exit out of America. By allowing Arab/Muslims into America we are asking for MAJOR problems which the next few generations of AMERICANS will have to deal with.
If we "cleanse" ourselves, then we should go after the members of the religion that has killed the most Americans, Babtists. How silly.
No you are the silly one. You live in another dimension of which I am not familar with.
What line of crap. What about the riots of 1926 in Hebron which virtually wiped out the whole Jewish population in that city. Peaceably before the late 40s I think not.
Barely worth a response, rhetorical or otherwise. Dude, your screen name speaks for itself.
;)
I love America. I spent 4 years in the USMC, both my sons served, I support GWB and our troops, and I know that we will smash Saddammnn and wipe off the face of the earth all the terrorists. But I will not join the mindless crowd that joins the haters, and condemns an entire religion because of the actions of a few. That is not what built this country and good Americans know that.
Yes indeed. They are likely having most of them right here in the DC area supported by the tax monies paid by my children who have to limit their families because they pay such taxes. A grocery store here tells you that food stamps are easily obtainable and SS is also available to those who never paid a dime.
When there are enough of them they will dominate. It is why Indonesia and Bali and the Philippines are such paradise places--because they are so tolerant of the religions of others.
I'd say UT is off our list of admirable institutions. But then all these colleges get more money to educate foreign students than they do to educate the American students who more than qualify.
You may have served America in the past but you are now a propagandised pc-er whose attitude toward truth will damn it for the future.
"He (Campbell) declined our repeated directives to calm down and otherwise cooperate," wrote university police officer Steve Nelson in his report. "His actions were causing alarm to others in the immediate area."
If I can believe the university cop, Campbell was A)Ranting on in a library, a place for quiet study, and B)Not smart enough to take advantage of the cop's offer of just calming down, since he had already made his point.
If any one of us had engaged in the same behaviors regarding any other subject, we'd expect to be charged with disturbing the peace, also.
I am trying desperately to continue to agree with your position. But the more I read about Islam the less I think of its practioners. Islam is more than a "religion". It is a way of life; it is a culture in itself; and it is highly intolerant by its very teachings.
The fact that little condemnation from American Muslims is significant in itself. The fact that Muslims keep to themselves and don't assimilate is not a positive. The fact that Muslim men are mysognistic is repulsive to me, as a man who loves and admires women. The fact that most of the terrorist actions around the world are Islam related weighs heavily against them. The facts stated earlier is this thread about American mosques and everyday Muslims supporting Islamists in their terrorist activities speaks volumns. The fact that the majority of Muslim countries are oppressive and violent is, well, a fact.
I believe that the majority of American Muslims just want to live in peace, but their "religion" is still filled with vitriol toward those who are non-believers. This IS a war between the civilized world and a backwards, violent, bigoted, imperialistic culture. Innocents get hurt in wars. I'm sorry for that, but if the American Muslim community does not come out in mass to condemn these acts of wanton murder, then they have no one to blame for the growing resentment towards them.
Thank you for your service, Marine.
Why wait??
Can be put to the test right now.
Go to Iran, Egypt, or Syria for instance, & walk down the street wearing a yarmulke.
See what happens.
...yea.
Oops, that was suppose to read: "...wanton acts of murder, then they must except part of the blame for the growing resentment towards them." It's late...I'm outta here.
Yes, a religious toleration that the Islamics do not have. That is the point. We are being inundated by people who are not tolerant and who live by the sword and our children and grandchildren are going to pay for it.
I would be lying if I said some pretty horrible thoughts had not crossed my mind about Muslims. As Americans we are currently confronted with these facts:
1) Their Jihad is here on American soil.
2) They are committed to killing or converting the infidel, whichever is more convenient.
3) We know their agents of terror are here, and have been building up their strength for years. They could be any Muslim you've ever met.
4) Foreign born or home grown does not seem to make a difference. Both have turned out to be plotting against America and Americans.
5) They do not believe in innocent civilians. In fact their effort is focused directly on the extermination of civilian "infidels".
6) Your innocent child is as valid a target as the cop on the corner, your doctor, a fireman and you've got a crosshair on your forehead as well.
This is just a list for starters. I hated the thoughts that were going through my mind, but as Americans we are going to have to change the way we think about this new threat and how to counter it. There will be some very difficult decisions to be made about the future of all Muslims. Even the innocent ones. Who really wants to take that chance?
Innocent until proven guilty? We can't chance persecuting Muslims? Look at the children on your street, your friends and neighbors. They are innocent as well. These are new rules, we didn't make them, but they are now part of the game. In this case, the needs of the many must outweigh the needs of the few.
I don't like it either, but like I said, we have some very difficult decisions to make in the future.
Yeah that tends to happen when 3000 Americans get pulverized.
BUMP
