Hint: if it had been Republicans, the media would be billing it as the top story on every network. Since that is not the case, then we can assume that it is Rats and therefore not "newsworthy."

ABSOLUTELY, if this were a Republican scandal, even the revered George Stanley McGovern would "come home" to denounce those "evil," "mean-spirited," "Watergate-loving" Republicans. By the way, Tom Daschle was once an aide to McGovern, much as AR Bill was once on the staff of Sen. J. William Halfbright. SD will be a tough nut to crack, but it can be done. I just fear that we will lose it by a narrow margin.
