[history]
When Harding County Auditor Kathy Glines sifts through voter registration cards each election year, she usually can tell when something isn't right.
She knows, for instance, that among the 17 new registrations her office has received this year are several high school seniors who will vote for the first time next month in this ranching area in northwest South Dakota.

I'm still waiting to see this story hit the national news.
Has anyone seen it anywhere other than South Dakota news sources?

I guess the next installment about Republican voter fraud will be in next Sunday's paper. It figures to be a twenty-five word article.

Voter fraud in Daschle's home state? Gee, imagine that!

A voter registrar who "knows everybody" is not enough of a safeguard. This same registrar might also be part of the Daschle machine and working overtime for Tim Johnson. Let's hope the premature publicity about illegitimate voters will stem fraud of a more massive scale on Nov. 5.

It's not being carried in South Texas. That said, though, it may be that we've got bigger fish to fry here. We have a city council here in San Antonio that has been under serious fire.
Two -- count 'em -- TWO demonRAT city councilmen have been charged by the US Attorney with taking bribes to award big city contracts.
We have yet another city council member who's been under allegations that he and the judge he's been -- ahem -- romantic with -- was awarded an undue portion of public defender cases. That, and he billed the city for hours he never worked.
We also have a state leg member who's been under allegations that he's been building a mafia like organization that controls EVERYTHING on the city's south side.
None of this has made national news, either.

A voter register working for the Dems. Not in my county. Sherrill Dryden, the Fall River county auditor nailed them here

Great!

Not likely to get much national play, I'm afraid. The "other" Dakota fraud is NORTH Dakota, where the incumbent Democrat hired David Strauss as his campaign manager. You remember Strauss? He was the one who orchestrated Gore's Buddhist temple visit? The incumbent Dem is so cocky that when he was confronted about, he was supposed to have said: "Find me a Buddhist temple in North Dakota, and I'll go there!" This has, unfortunately, gotten NO play, national or otherwise.
To: South Dakota
No, your county is safe, but what about other counties with Democrat registrars?
To: South Dakota
As I posted above, I understand that North Dakota has fraud problems also, with the incumbent Dem using David Strauss as his campaign manager. (Of Al Gore Buddhist temple fame.)

We need to check for the Dems issuing multiple voter cards in a stack to voters, as was done in Floriduh in 2000.
Bringing a little camera like this one would help. It can even take 15 second movies. It is smaller than a pack of cigarettes.

Talk about hypocrites. Independent contractor? That's a way to have an employee without having to pay benefits. Yeah, those democrats really care about the workers... Someone needs to expose this...
According to the party, those documents were submitted by Becky Red Earth-Villeda of Flandreau - also known by her Dakota name Maka Duta - an independent contractor working through the Coordinated Campaign, a get-out-the-vote program organized by the Democratic Party.

I smell something rotten.....
... like a dirty Daschole.

If reservations are sovereign nations when did they get to vote in US elections..
South Dakota may be in for a uprising.
To: tubebender
I was just about to write exactly the same question about "reservations=sovereign nations" after I had read this article... and see your comment. Why the heck are the reservation folks getting to vote at all? If they don't have to pay taxes and are exempt from some other laws??? Hmmm... must do some asking around or other research about this stuff...
