Oh Lord in Heaven... lots of prayers for our Aussie mates. Does anyone think the attacks happening in Australia, Indonesia, and the Philipines are being done with hopes that these countries will abandon the US in the war on terror?

Apparently, not everyone turned in their guns. God bless the Aussies - it's been a rough month.

No, it's probably some white angry American militant. /sarcasm

Seriously, though, very sad.....prayers going up for the families and that no one else is hurt or killed.

Maybe they will take the war on terror a bit more seriously now. Prayers for the dead and injured. Let this be a lesson...Al Qaeda is really taking it to the Aussies in the last few weeks. But all of these countries almost need a lesson of their own to see...it is not just an American problem.

Yep... and as we know, if you make laws banning guns, then there can't be any more crimes commited using guns... not sure how this happened... perhaps we could ask people in the UK...

Two shot dead at Monash uni campus October 21 2002

Two people were shot dead and two others seriously injured at Monash University's Clayton campus in outer eastern-Melbourne, an ambulance spokeswoman said today.

Emergency services were called to the Menzies Building at the campus just before 11.30am.

An ambulance spokeswoman said one person was shot in the chest and one in the leg.

Police have reportedly detained a person.

A woman who works at the nearby by union building said she had seen two injured people.

``I've seen two people with blood on them come through to our medical centre,'' she told Melbourne radio 3AW.

She said a former policeman rushed into the shop to call police just before 11.30am.

``It's shocking that it could happen this close,'' she said.

A police media spokeswoman later said she had unconfirmed reports of two dead and two injured in the Monash University shooting.

``Shots were fired at about twenty past 11,'' she told AAP.

``We have unconfirmed reports of two dead and two injured and one person in police custody''. Further information was not immediately available.

Right out of the Al-Qaeda play book.

Good point! But the Aussies still have their single shot rifles.... expect those to be banned next. As you probably know, a lot of these shootings come at the most opportune time for the gun grabbers. Anyone who thinks that the anti-freedom zealots won't do ANYTHING to disarm us is smoking something. Don't anyone think for a minute that total disarmament is the goal.

That's how it was in Bosnia. And Kosovo. And Paris of the East, Beirut. And everywhere else. Got to wonder if Homeland Defense can do anything about this.
