It was a choice between an honest Republican and a patently corrupt 'Rat, and the stench of corruption was too great for the 'Rat issue positions to overcome, so Forrester was the choice.

You wouldn't have known that by all the comments here on FR in June/July saying Forrester didn't have a prayer. Not surprisingly, I disagreed.

Forrester has been hammering Lautenberg, and he will continue to hit him. I hope they go full court (if they haven't already) on Lautenberg dodging the debates. Nothing like planting seeds of doubt in voters' minds. Why is an 18-year veteran afraid to debate a relative newcomer to politcs? Hmmm...

Forrester should have a debate; two podiums; he shows up, the other side is absent; Forrester answers questions of some impartial moderator willing to participate/sponsor; Forrester finishes each question with "And I would like to hear from my opponent, but I guess debates are not his cup of tea", etc.

Just a thought, an idea, don't know if anyone else posted something similar. Of course it won't happen but I would lay odds it would give Forrester alot of exposure.
