He spent some time with her. She said she had wanted to invite him down for the rally this weekend but heard him say he was going on tour for his book.

He was supportive of the DC Freepers and said he had met a bunch at his book signing. I was trying to alert everyone to listen in a hurry, so I didn't hear it all verbatim. She was great, though. :-)

I have saved the Real Player file for WABC and simply drag it onto Real Player when I want to listen. All this time I have been trying to find the web page for you, and then a client called. Sorry I was so late.

If you do get a file downloaded, save it and use it again. I have been listening to WTOP in DC like this, too. ;-)

Sean has had a great show today -- he gave out a phone number and urged the listeners to call Lautenberg's office and respectfully request that Lautenberg appear on the show -- then he had some guy call live from a Lautenberg speech and the guy was holding up a cell phone so we could hear what was going on ('til the guy got kicked out) -- anyway Lautenberg finally had to call in (probably because his phones were ringing off the hook but no one was calling to make a contribution to the campaign) -- and while he was on the phone, Forrester called in too (said he was ready to have a debate right then and there -- Lautenberg hustles off the phone real quick-like) -- and then a FReeper call !! Very interesting !

Must've been her -- she was talking about a rally that's planned for Washington D.C. -- gave date and time (also said who was having the liberal/looney "protest" type rally -- this part I missed--was cooking dinner but turned the radio up as soon as I heard Free Republic) and said where to meet and then invited patriots to come out and join them -- Sean obviously loves FReepers, he mentioned the "get out of Cheney's house" cahnts and said the guys wore loafers and alligator shirts and they bring their kids along -- he was up against a break but he still talked to her for quite a while and was very nice

I heard the Lautenberg call right after I started listening, and as Twynn1 said, the very next call was tgslTakoma. At least I am pretty sure it was her. (Now that I have posted the thread, I admit that!)

The Freeper gave her real name, and I was pretty sure it was her, after having met tgslTakoma at CPAC earlier this year.

Maybe when she can she'll give an account of her call, too. I wouldn't have been so cool and said everything I wanted to say. ;-)

Thank you everyone, for saying such nice things about my phone call to Sean! I tried to make sense, and say everything I needed to say. I know I flubbed a bit, I don't do call-in stuff well; please don't fire me!

I will write up a little something in a while... I'm on call (again) tonight, and darned if I didn't get paged already. So, it's off to work with me for now...
