Timing IS everything - ;-). It'll be interesting to see how the Dum-o-crats try to squirm around this one.

I think the media is simply reflecting our current culture by "covering up" the threat of Islamist terror. Many people I have spoken with (to the disbelief of myself and my wife) are in complete denial and don't want to hear that about the possibility that radical Islam is engaged in war against us, and that radical Islam represents a credible threat. These people just want the problem to go away - so they ignore it. Hard to believe isn't it? Has anyone else had similar experiences with the people they work with or see around town?

Frankly, where it comes to many in the media, they are afraid that identification of radical Islamists perpetrating terror (like sniper or guy who attacked El Al at LAX) plays into Bush's hand.

Personally, I have no problem with killing the 17 year old either (in case that's an issue for any bleeding hearts out there).

And I have no problem with killing the 17 year old, personally.

It will probably be prosecuted from a 'conspiricy' angle. They both worked together to do the killings.

Accessory to murder probably won't qualify for execution

The prize would be if they conclude the younger terrorist thug pulled the trigger a time or two, you know, just to share the "rush". Perhaps he was in "training". Regardless, Erhlich should be front and center this morning if for no other reason than to make kkt squirm. Blackbird.

I agree, let VA take care of the trial and execution. Personally, I have no problem with killing the 17 year old either (in case that's an issue for any bleeding hearts out there).

Just pray these a##holes aren't smart enough to flunk their intelligence test. Remember the SCOTUS says no death penalty for those of subnormal intelligence.

Well, if court takes into account how they were caught -- sleeping on the side of the road with half the people on the east coast looking for them -- they might not pass that smartness test.

Never before, historically, have Islamic forces faced such an imbalance of military and economic power; One thing is Israel, where their goal is PR and rallying of the hordes to their cause. Another target entirely is America, where asymmetrical warfare is a means to the end of engaging a stronger foe on their terms for as long as possible. Just think of what these attacks would have been like if it had been under a Gore administration...the only error the Islamist terrorists made was in timing their attacks for when a strong president with character and intelligence was in charge.

The Islamic masses have no doubts about who is doing what, to the degree where their "champions" take credit for things they are unlikely to have been able to pull off; at the same time, they see no conflict in simultaneously claiming a Zionist conspiracy behind everything.

He will not only be protected in prison, he will be lionized. That is, unless some homosexual angle crops up with the young man involved, in which case all bets are off. No amount of "respect" for psychotic, antisocial behaviour trumps the giant target being a pedophile of sorts would make him. That's prisons, for ya.

Actually I'm full of respect and admiration for the authorities and their restraint in not having already imposed the death penalty. Kudos to their effort.

However now the scabs will be turned over to the liberal court system that Tom Daschle has prevented Bush from assigning more competant judges to. That after having delayed their capture by preventing the foundation of a homeland security group.

"Good work, Tommy!"

They should be tried in VA. Try them down in Fredericksburg or Ashland. They WILL be strapped to a guerney in 3 years.

It makes sense a liberal jurisdiction wouldn't want to put killers from the Religion Of Peace to death. A place like Maryland that believes in the religion of gun control is not a place that is likely to believe murderers deserve to be punished with being executed either. If we want the death penalty for the bastards they have to be tried in Virginia. Federal jurisdiction is a goner on account of liberal judges having invalidated the federal death penalty as a great human rights abuse. Doesn't anyone wonder why John Mohammed and his accomplice Malvo struck as often as they did? They figured with the way things are in this country today, the worse they can expect for their crimes is a slap on the wrist.

Naw, if you really want to give 'em a taste of their own poison...turn 'em loose on the Sniper School range at Quantico as a class project. Let 'em know what it's like to be hunted down like an animal.

Oh,I'd love to see it become an issue in MD and wathc KKT go down in flames.

If her opponent isn't calling for it, and putting her on te spot for the next 10 days, chalk it up to republican incompetence.
