Diversity only counts if you are part of the excepted group.

Personally I always thought Fawell was a little lite in the loafers, most clergy, of all Faiths, are.

Think what you will about Falwell; the sad fact of the matter remains.
You will begin to experience true bigotry, discrimination and hatred when you dare declare yourself a Bible reading, Born Again Christian . . .

Give the man his due: he works, and has been doing so for decades, for what is right. Sometimes a voice of conscience is more important than cerebral wisdom.

In the small town of Ferndale, Mich Anyone that knows the Detroit Metro area would see this as very misleading...

I agree with you. As one with Judeo-Christian beliefs, I have felt the pressure from these groups. They are only interested in "justifying" their behavior, something that cannot be done.

I will now switch exclusivly to Fuji-Film. I hope others will also.

What an intelligent comment! Not.
To: repub32
Ferndale is not a small town. It's a suburb of Detroit, next to Royal Oak, and is the "Ann Arbor" or Oakland County.
To: repub32
Falwell's right. They don't want diversity, they want group think acceptance of their perversion and anyone who disagrees with them isn't being diverse enough apparently
To: nofriendofbills
This outrageous suppression of the normal human reaction to the flaunting of deviant behavior, is not about a particular cleric--nor about religion in general. The issue here is that there are totalitarian types, dominant in many school systems and businesses, who are aggressively attempting to suppress normal human reactions to offensive behavior. That this is considered acceptable in any mainstream American circle, today, tells us how very far we have drifted down the rabbit hole with Alice.
Enough is enough!

And they will face this inequity under the dark guise of diversity*Shiver*
We shall not go quietly into the night BUMP!

It's time we used the left's agenda against itself. Any time some employer requires 'diversity training' regarding anything of a sexual nature, we begin to cry 'sexual harrassment.'

Heckuva headline, that. I thought for a moment that I was going to have to embark on a whole new relationship with my co-workers...

I have a family member who was disciplined by his supervisor (he works for the Fed. Govt) for complaining about a "Black History Month" mass-email that celebrated the Black Panthers.
Diversity and Tolerance only count if you're one of the "oppressed."

I wonder how you'd feel if it was a muslim who was censured for objecting to a pro-Israeli e-mail.
To: SicTransitGloriaMundi
Well, wouldn't have a problem with it. Name one Islamic Founding Father. As much as you despise it, as much as you twist the words of the Founders, the fact is that before the 14th Amendment the states had the right, among other things, to establish and maintain religious and moral beliefs within their separate states.

"In Hayward, Calif., earlier this year, high school teachers were informed they would be required to attend an in-service program focusing on "gay/lesbian/bi-sexual/ transgender youth." When some teachers complained, saying their religious beliefs were violated by the program, school officials said the school district's requirement for teachers to attend trumped provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, which provides broad protections for people of religious faith in the workplace.'
The principle of unintended consequences is hard at work in Title VII. You create legislation based on race, racial discrimination, not equality, is the ultimate result. Then, it is but a small step for liberal courts to mistake the PRIVILEGE of being tolerated for the RIGHT of freedom of conscience.
