Never, never, never, never. I remember in 6th grade, a teacher went to Russia and had "show and tell" with slides he took (long long lines to get only one item, i.e., milk, then another long long line to get another item, i.e., bread, etc.)......there was nothing but distrust for them....

Then, when Gorbechov (sp?) "tore down the wall," I had nothing but distrust.....I felt it was insincere and a method or strategy to do something to us.....of late, and only of late, have I started to have any trust for that government....very curious turnaround (there is still, however, in the back of my mind, distrust, but not nearly as strong).

No it's not. The communists were wrong, and there are still plenty of them about, just not so many in Russia, and those that are left are mostly pretty discredited.
