I'm also a fan of Petr Beckmann's Health Hazards
of Not Going Nuclear.

No. Do you have more info? Seems like they could do that considering their size and geological resources.

" Rose Gottemoeller, senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and assistant energy secretary for nonproliferation in the Clinton administration, said: "I believe that the chance that al Qaeda controls actual warheads is virtually nil."

Where was this guy when we gave North Korea the means and know-how? Nonproliferation, yea right...

well, I suppose he was ONLY the assistant energy secretary...

You are welcome.

I feel this change to an alternate or alternates is a
metter of National Security.

Read Bush and Chenys secretive "Energy Plan " and puke.

I despise them all.

Do you by any chance know what "21Z" means?

Methinks you are correct. It would be a huge armed hunt for perps and the closest are those already here. The bad news is the government is doing nothing to stop the influx or pinpoint the locations of Al Qaeda operatives for fear of offending the Saudis, Louis Farrakhan et al.

Has anyone noticed, as I have, that the issue of illegal immigration is not even mentioned by either party's candidates nor is it on their platforms? Weird! It's too much of a hot potato for the cowardly pols. If a bomb were to go off, it would also be the end of whatever government is in power. They would be blamed too. A military coup would probably occur right here in the USA. Is that too much of a stretch?

The New Jersey tag on the Caprice driven by the snipers was "NDA 21Z".

"NDA" does mean "National Defense Area" in government lingo.

I'm trying to find a second meaning for "21Z".

I know, I'm goofy.

ADMs have a shelf life of about eight years, after which they need to be retrieved and sent to a laboratory for refurbishment.

This means replenish the Tritium -- rare and expensive stuff.

My nighmare scenario has Al Qaida buying a black market suitcase nuke that is for sale because the sellers know it is a dud, due to the depleted Tritium. Then Al Qaida buys fresh Tritium on the black market from another source, who sells it because they know that the Tritium is useless by itself.

I'm thinking pandoras box was opened this past weekend..the Russians use of gas will relate as a WMD to Islamic psycho's...who will respond soon in kind.
Not desiring to be preachy..but a hallmark of Islamic thought is entwined about the concept or thought projection of Revenge.
Nearly all the Islamic terror is rooted in this
All Bin Ladens or Yasser Arafats need do ..is speak to it...activate it.
Revenge has been full scale war..aka mid east..to personal violence...most recently the U.S. Diplomat in Jordan.
Its coming...bio/chem..dirty nuke...its coming..and we will experience it....because we show weakness.
Think tank experts like Daniel Pipes...Foaud Ajami have been warning us....
Their comment...."They mean to do everything they say".
Our so called enlightened media thinks them to be overboard in their insight and forwarders of negative stereotype.
We are in denial....we hope..and bank our future on the lies of the Islamic leaders..while 2-3% of their population thinks 24 on ways to revenge on us ..and kill us.
