I admit I did flip the TV over at the very end. Just in time to see the defiant standing ovation for Roman Polanski as best director.

Harrison Ford accepted the award on his behalf, since he couldn't be there. He's a fugitive from justice (running from child rape charges for some time now, I think), and living in Europe.

Of course, Harrison didn't mention that.
