Might as well ping my friend, who just signed up over the weekend, to this thread.
NVAHOSTAGE---here. Fun. Check it out.

I just hope FREE REPUBLIC is up to the task and doesn't melt down.

That's what we'll need.........REAL TIME REPORTING. We can suggest sites and discuss who may (or may not) be doing good FAIR reporting (slim to none chance of that, IMO!).

Should we post "free dominion" just in case The Freeper gets overloaded??? Good idea.
I went there yesterday during the "down" time and it's a good, easy forum to navigate.
Bump for later reading.

What is "free dominion?"

It is my opinion that the Democrats, not content with their grab for power, are actively interested in RUINING HOLIDAYS!
During 2000 they messed up Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. In addition they snatched Elian on EASTER. When did Jeffords switch? I believe it was right around MEMORIAL DAY.
Now watch them try to ruin another holiday season! Instead of "Frosty the Snowman" I will probably be watching court cases on C-SPAN!!

If you go the coffee route, make sure you have some real food on hand (chocolate doesn't count) and remember to eat some occasionallyOkay, I will put some real food in the crockpot. Chocolate IS one of the basic food groups though, especially when a person is in need of comfort.

Thanks for posting the free dominion link. We need to keep repeating it from time to time for those who aren't aware of it and for those who are be sure to bookmark it. Things will get real busy here tomorrow night and we want all our bases covered...
To: Howlin
Oh, ugh! Yes, awful. Horrible. And the Demonicrats want this scene repeated and multiplied tomorrow night.
I will NOT give them the satisfaction. And I will NOT give one second of time to the networks. NOT ONE SECOND.
Yes, FR got us all through the 2000 debacle and it will again. But I have learned that I can be an active participant not just a spectator on election day/night and I will NEVER be just a spectator again! I will not allow them to "do" that to me again! NEVER!
The only reason some of these contests are "close" is due to massive voter fraud planned and in the works.
Any Freeper who can walk should be down at the polls on Tuesday as poll watchers or sign holders or voter encouragers or ride providers. Freepers who cannot walk but can pray - should be in prayer. And all the rest can carry on - to victory! We all have our part. Good luck to all! And God's blessings!
To: Howlin
I just heard on Fox that here in NC, funeral homes are offering their "family cars" to people for a ride to the pollsSo many witty remarks are possible that I just can't choose.
Of course, after the Wellstone thing I now see the word as "funerally".

You know, I could set up a chat room on MIRC!

Chocolate has just as much caffeine as coffee, and will only make you hurl harder.
Make yourself some toast and pretend it's an early, early breakfast.
Then you can have some chocolate.

It is a 'freeper' thread hosted by our Canadian friends who let us post on their site. Has been used in the past and is easy to navigate.

1) A handy "checklist" of the races for tomorrow, so we can mark them off as they are "called" on Tuesday night. Not the greatest list, but ...
Governor's races

Well, then, you can understand that when I first looked up at the pictures and didn't get the full story of what they were offering, I immediately assumed they were taking "dead Democrats" to vote. :-)

To keep your boss from seeing how much time you spend scanning FR, keep your window small and narrow and in the lower left. Use a wheel a mouse so you can scroll easily through a small area to read posts. If your boss is of limited computer knowledge, FR at a glance looks just like work.

Helpful household hints:Time for a humor break
Having grown up in a Democratic family I am in possession of a copy of the Democratic family voting rules.
Which are
Vote early and often
Help your ancestors with their voting. Especially the
dead ones.
Ancestors that have been dead less than 10 years
require the least assistance and rarely need to
be voted by absentee ballot. Often doing a poor
imitation of Janet Reno will convince the poll workers
you are your own Grandpa.
Ancestors with Great before their name are not under any
circumstances to be voted more than twice in any
given election.
However if the election is not a given they can be
voted up to and including 24 times each.
My only regret os I did not have thousands of "official looking" Democratic sample ballots printed with the party labels on the candidates reversed. They should have been printed and sent to every Democratic Precinct worker in the inner cities of Ohio.
