I'm so happy I'm off my "diet" and chowing down popcorn and chips. Sadly I'm at work (compiling election results) and can't have a brew. that'll come later today!

HOO-YA!

I TOO WOULD LIKE TO CONTRATULATE ALL THE FREEPERS IN ALL THE AREAS WHO HAVE WORKED SO HARD ON THESE CAMPAIGNS, AS WELL AS THE PRAYER FOCUS THAT HAS GONE OUT. IT HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE.

THANKS AND GOD BLESS THE USA

Yup. All we needed was 2 and we may get 4, assuming a victory in LA.

CNN's Judy Woodruff and Aaron Brown look like they are on the verge of tears.

Aaron Brown cried when they announced that Cleland had lost in Georgia. I am not making this up, he really did! He broke down when he mentioned the "awful" campaign ad that Chambliss ran exposing Cleland's voting record on homeland defense.

He'd have nothing to gain by switching now. Hell, Cheney has the final vote so even if he did jump ship, it'd do no good for him or the 'Rats. WE WIN!!!!

Hoist yer drink in salute lads 'n lasses, WE WIN!!!!

That was May Scheve, head of the Democratic Party in MO. She has had a really bad night. They lost the MO House, and the MO Senate. On top of that her husband got beat running for the St. Louis County Council. Heck of a trifecta.

This election ought to convince the lefties and liberals in politics, entertainment and the media that they are totally out of touch with the American people.

And WE have the power!

You're right. Just one more thing though. You know what won it for us? It was a move from the Democrats play book. It was the "get out and vote" move.
In 2000, that is exactly what the Dems did to mobilize their base. And this election, the Republicans, led by (and don't doubt it for a minute) George W, knocked on doors and made phone calls and got every last one of the lazy R's off their duffs and down to the voting booths. And the "Silent Majority" spoke. And we won.
You know what this means, don't you? From now on we all have to get out there and get our Republican friends to vote. And we have to volunteer our services to our local and national candidates and we can no longer sit back and hope for the best because , if nothing else, tonight proved that heavy voter turnout can mean Republican victory from now on. And that means we can forget the rain.

LOL... well, I thoroughly enjoyed watching her have a nervous breakdown on national television... I didn't expect a concession speech AND comic relief. I should send her a thank-you note.
