I wish he got that margin when he ran for president.

Michael Medved spoke very highly today of Ron Paul and noted how Ron Paul, as a libertarian (small l), runs & wins effectively on a Republican ticket and helps bring the libertarian approach to the caucus & how much more effective others could be if they chose this approach rather than countering Republicans & so often helping the RATs.

Imagine that. A man running on Libertarian principles (despised by a large percentage of FReepers) wins an election by standing on his record rather than saying the things that please people. BTW, Paul voted against the war on Iraq. I wonder how many warmongering FReepers will change their tune about this victory with that in mind.

It's good to see a good man on top. And the people recognizing it is so much better.

Maybe he can expose your "moon landings were a hoax" theory.

Excellent news! Ron Paul is the best man in Congress. His district is not "libertarian," just conservative, which only goes to prove that strict Constitutional principles can win in many if not most parts of the country.

Ron Paul wins when he runs as a Republican; loses when he runs as a Libertarian. Facts supported by his record.

That point may really be driven home in 2004.

I have come to accept the wisdom of that approach.
