THE MAIN TARGET IS ISLAM FOLLOWED BY ARABS AND NOT SAUDI ARABIA . THE SAUDI CROWN PRINCE CALLS UPON THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE TO SETTLE THEIR DIFFERENCES, UNIFY THEIR RANKS AND CO-OPERATE. A NEW ARAB STRESS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ARAB INITIATIVE AS A GATEWAY TO PEACE IN THE REGION. THE NINTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF THE WORLD ASSEMBLY OF MUSLIM YOUTH DEPLORES THE CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE KINGDOM.
Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister and Commander of the National Guard, called upon Arabs and Muslims to keep away from provocative actions, confirming that Islam was the main target of an ongoing smear campaign launched by a section of the Western media.
"You know that we are all targeted ... not only Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Sudan and others ... but the main target is Islam,'' the Crown Prince said.
Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz was addressing an audience at Al Yamamah Royal Palace in Riyadh with former Tunisian Prime Minister Mohammed Al Mazali, guests of the Ninth International Conference organized by the Riyadh-based the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) and its officials who came to greet him on the occasion of the end of the conference which was held in Riyadh under the auspices of the Crown Prince.
The audience was also attended by the conference's Secretary General, members of the board of trustees and chairmen of the conference's committees.
The Crown Prince welcomed them all and hoped that their conference would yield good results.
Crown Prince Abdullah also said whoever adheres to Islam will be protected from all evils. The Crown Prince noted that known quarters are behind what is reported in the newspapers and other media against the kingdom, Islam and Muslims, but that right will prevail.
"I urge myself and you to be pious and fearful of Allah and you should know that we are all targeted ... not only Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the Sudan or any other country ... but rather Islam is the target," the Crown Prince added,
Crown Prince Abdullah went on saying that what is happening in Palestine makes one speechless, stressing the need for Arab and Muslim solidarity as Islam is the target and it is followed by Arabs.
The Crown Prince denounced all forms of terrorism and said, "deviants exist everywhere and at all times and are not peculiar to a certain religion ... Islam rejects such acts and is innocent of them."
"God willing, there are things that will come including the peace proposals which we introduced in Beirut Conference and we hope they will be implemented," Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz said.
"The target is Islam and this is certain but I assure you that Islam is strong: despite the campaigns against us, we find that in America itself, people are embracing Islam every day," the Crown Prince added,
Crown Prince Abdullah stressed the need for restraint and avoidance of being provoked, saying that whatever is willed by Allah will occur.
"It is a duty on you to urge your peoples to be patient, calm and thoughtful. Allah is greater than any arrogant person, power or nation," he added.
The Crown Prince strongly urged Muslims and Arabs to unite and be patient and not be easily provoked and concentrate on hard work. He also urged the Palestinian people to unite and persevere, saying their Muslim brothers are with them.
''Although there are no wars or enmity between Muslim countries which follow the same faith, they remain disunited as a result of the work of hidden hands,'' Crown Prince Abdullah said.
The Crown Prince urged the Palestinians to settle their differences and unify their ranks. He said the Palestinians will continue to receive the backing of all Muslims.
Crown Prince Abdullah hoped that the Saudi-initiated Arab peace initiative, which was endorsed by the Arab League summit in Beirut last March, would be implemented.
''The peace plan offers normal ties with Israel in return for its total withdrawal from Arab land,'' he added.
The Crown Prince denounced the continuing Israeli military campaign against unarmed Palestinians. ''Words fail to describe what is happening in Palestine,'' he said, and urged Arabs and Muslims to work together for the success of the Palestinian cause.
Crown Prince Abdullah reiterated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's condemnation of all forms of terrorism. ''You will find deviants in all places and times. They don't have any particular religion. Islam abhors terrorism and has nothing to do with it,'' the Crown Prince added.
He urged Muslims to show patience and act with forethought. ''God is great and He is above all the arrogant powers and nations,'' Crown Prince Abdullah said, and hoped that God will unite Arabs and Muslims.
''But we should have patience and we should not go after provocative actions,'' he said.

Yet another provocation of the most serious kind. This amounts to a blood libel, since it is intended to inflame all of Islam with hatred against the United States.
Together with their attempt to bribe Russia to veto the Iraqi initiative in the Security Council, this is as good as a declaration of war against the United States. It suggests a desperate refusal to deal with us. I trust that Bush is noting all this down for later action.
This is an absolute lie. The Crown Prince knows who, in Saudi Arabia, is financing terrorism. If the royal family wanted it, those doing so would be beheaded this very day. Saudi Arabia is fostering terrorists, encouraging their wanton murder and financing them with many dollars.
Note, he said Saudi Arabia supports ALL of the Islam faith, apparently including the barbaric murderers of innocents. Infidels, being enemies of Allah, are fair game and killing them is apparently no sin to those of Islamic faith.

I'll decry the treatment of Christians overseas. I don't think the Christians over seas are packing themselves up with C-4 planning on blowing up a small cafe. Sorry pal, but right now, Islam is my enemy.

That must be why, just a few months after he came to power, Saddam's Iraq attach Iran. And then just a few years after formally ending that war, Iraq invaded Kuwait. Then there are the Kurds, who are after all not only Muslims, but Iraqies, gased by Saddam's Muslim Republican Guard.
Excpet that they very likely are members of the Royal Family. Not that familial ties prevent such acts, but only when internal control is the issue, not acts against mere infidels.
