Do you have a cell phone? I would of stayed in my vehicle or driven off and called 911. Course that's easy for me to say looking back on your quite harrowing situation.

Considering that you were unarmed, you did the best that you could.

Grade: A

Just a couple of things:

The type of car and the type of weaponry is very untypical of your usual 7-11 knock-off artists. More likely some slingers who were there for some other reasons.

If you saw their weapons in the open, the best thing to do would have been to get back in your car, drive away and use a cell phone. Going into the 7-11 and appearing to discuss things in a possibly agitated manner with the clerk is more or less a giveaway, and walking into the lion's den.

I think you showed tremendous presence of mind under pressure, and that you handled the situation perfectly.

I say you did the right thing. It would have rattled anyone...especially after a long & emotional day/night at the hospital. You may have saved some lives.

CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING A NEW DADDY!!!!

You should have pulled them out through the open window, whipped their asses and took their guns. You could have owned them serious weapons for free. :-)

You're braver than I. I don't know what I would have done. Maybe I would have gone around the back of the store and used my cell phone to call 911. I think you did very well--you put yourself in harm's way in the store.

Of course, its also possible that the main event was somewhere else, and these guys were picking up snacks before they got down to business. In that case, its still a good thing to drop a dime on 'em.

Creepy.

Of course, you should never to go back to that store unarmed (which probably means not at all), and you should avoid that general area as much as you can.
