It appears that for the good of the Church the entire executive structure that is involved in coverups must go. The Catholics can no longer afford even an appearance of impropriety. It gives to much justification to the Secular Humanists and Atheist for their sick anti-religious propaganda. Every administrator who has been involved in cover-ups should be purged. That would go a long way into returning confidence. Actions like this suspension only reveal that there is far more dirt being covered up.

I agree. All these Bishops' Conferences, endless pronouncements, constant tinkering with procedures regarding the pedophiles....all lead nowhere, especially not to reform.
The problems of the Church run deep. They've been ongoing with AmChurch for at least 60 years. Nothing will be solved by the Bishops getting together to spout more hot air.
