Is Fairmount Park larger than NY's Central Park? I have never been to Philly but I loved the scenes from the movie the Sixth Sense and Rocky...

Fairmount Park is like California (oops bad choice) would be to Rhode Island. in size. It is also a much nice park. When you come to Philly I will give you a tour.

Well, when they first called me I had imagined the worst, but the doctor told me that when they first arrived (the ambulance), that Dad had managed to crawl out of the car on his own and had been walking around. So when this was the first thing the doctor had told me, you can see I was relieved. The doctor said he was stable and so forth (and I actually talked to Dad for a few minutes - I could tell Dad was shook up from the accident, but was coherent - but he told me he didn't remember our conversation from the community hospital). They didn't know about the neck fracture until he was Cat Scanned in Swedish Medical Center. They transferred him on a back board from Hugo to SMC in Englewood, Colorado.

Before he left on this trip, Dad had plenty of folks telling him he should fly (and rent a car) instead of doing all that driving - me included. The list is longer now, of course.....

Aw the good ole days when we had paperboys on bikes and they were thrilled to death to get a $.25 tip...Now we have adults in cars who accept Credit Cards...lol...
