Temple Owl, I may be coming to Philly next summer. The Research Foundation that researches my "orphan" disease holds an internation conference each year. The next one is in Philly and they are usually in August. What teaching hospital is in Philly?

Hugging you back. Good night.

We have serveral excellent teaching hospitals in Philadelphia. There is the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Jefferson University and of course, Temple. There are probably others but I think those are the main ones.

The new ensign was standing his first night watch on the bridge of a
destroyer.
Far out on the horizon, the USS New Jersey was conducting a night gunnery
exercise.
The ensign, seeing the flashes of light from the battleship, ran excitedly
up to the signal bridge and pointed out, mistakenly, the "Morse code" coming
from the other ship.
Ensign: "What are they saying? What are they saying?"
Signalman: "Boom. Boom."

It will probably be held under the auspices of Temple. Just my guess. I won't know until spring. These teaching conferences are held to educate doctors and give patients access to the latest research. They are quite fascinating, as the patients know as much or more than the doctors. There is a chance that I will speak, as I did at the Baltimore Conference in 98. I only go to the ones held in the East. I can't make it to the Western meetings.
I do hope you have enjoyed your day at the Finest. It's been a pleasure getting to know you and your lovely wife. God bless.

Is Fairmount Park larger than NY's Central Park? I have never been to Philly but I loved the scenes from the movie the Sixth Sense and Rocky... To be honest I am not sure because I have never been to NY's Central Park
But Fairmount Park is pretty huge and very beautiful .. you should also see it after a nice snow fall .. it is so pretty and peacefull ..
Were I grew up, part of the park was right across the street and even though we weren't allowed in the woods .. we would play there anyhow ..
Someday I'll have to tell ya some of those stories .. LOL

My story? Hmmm.
I've been thinking about Temple Owl's throughout this day, appreciating what a fulfilling and heroically ordinary American life he lives.
Somehow, my tale seems to pale next to his.
However, people being who and what we are, all our stories are written in the Book of Life and He reads each word, for all lives are worth knowng.
Betcha He reads your Freeper threads, too...)))
Goodnite to you, Miss Daisy...thanks for all the good vibes, you ladies render a great service...see you hostesses tomorrow for another cup of your good coffee.

Billie,
I have been asked to post another member of our family. Here is Ink.
Ink -- we have no idea as to what breed she is -- was found in 1998 in a duffle bag in the parking lot of the King of Prussia Mall by a friend of a friend's son. There were nine other puppies with her, five of who were dead. She could fit in the palm of your hand and was covered with mange.
