what a role it plays in the lives of independent voters stuck in rush-hour traffic. Shouldn't that be "Rush hour"?

The concert in NYC was for the Firemen and Policemen who gave their lives trying to save those in the Twin Towers; and for those who survived who were also being honored.
When Hillary came on stage, she thanked those "HEROES" for helping "HER" save NYC. That is a big difference, and don't forget that Hillary's delegates booed and spit on the Boy Scouts and the Police Honor Guard caring the American Flag, (at two different events)
The early morning news the day after the Wellstone Memorial Service was said by Democrats to have been planned by them, think (Bill, Hillary and Terry), and the whole rally came off without a hitch. They were glowing until around noon when the backfire hit. Suddenly the family was being blamed for the rally and not the Democratic Party.

Yeah the libs have NPR. But they don't have any one who commands the loyalty, devotion and audience share Rush Limbaugh gets every day.

I get Shawn on WLS (Chicago)at 9:00 p.m., WLS is an ABC owned station.
Shawn's show is owned by ABC. Disney calls the shots for ABC Radio just as it does for ABC TV. The people who bring you Shawn also bring you Peter Jennings and Night Line.

The people who bring you Shawn also bring you Peter Jennings and Night Line. I am aware of that FRiend but on my morning WLS show Jennings, et al are daily ridiculed. However, I have noticed recently that they have been interviewing Tom Brokow and Jennings.
Don't think the morning host will ever become lib, but he may well be under pressure to give more time and space to the lib side.

No one had to get us "whipped up" about the Wellstone memorial/pep-rally. Propriety dictated that we must be incensed by such an inappropriate display. Many (mostly liberal) democrats wouldn't know impropriety if it flew down and nested in their pants. Case in point, the way she describes the raucous portion of the event as "a few unfortunate moments". Ms. Billings is clearly where she belongs... with the democrats.
The party of situational ethics! Finally, I don't see a workable comparison between a (supposed to be funeral-like) memorial service and an event entitled, "Paul McCartney's Twin Towers relief concert". The McCartney event had beer concessions for Pete's sake!
