In the beginning right after the WTC I would have agreed with you, but now I see things in a different light. The Muslims foreign & domestic spew their hatred to often for me not to believe that they are the mainstream of Muslims philosophy. Where is the outrage of American Muslims at? Why aren't they protesting what the Terroists have done? I have to believe that this is what the Koran teaches, I have read some excerpts here & there & they are not preaching love for we Christians & Jews. If we are the enemy then it is they who have made us the enemy, if they want a Crusade I say give it to them.

O.K. i'll give you this I have seen 1 or 2 Muslims say that it was wrong for the Terrorists to do this, followed by a statement that we deserved it because of our backing of Israel. You say you've seen or read something, what & where is it?

Where is the outrage of American Muslims at?

Unfortunately one of the many weaknesses of Islam is this: Once a person says he is Muslim and says the magic words, no Muslim can dispute his muslimhood. This means that believing Muslims cannot speak out against the terrorists without compromising their own religion. Not in public, anyway. They need a means to excommunicate these non-Muslim, non-believing, terrorist anarchists.

Yes, I think it's a fatal flaw. It could be rectified, but not easily, might take a couple generations and a lot of enlightenment.

When did criticism become "Hate Speech"?

"I hate Muslims" would be hate speech.

"Muslims are killing Christians and Jews all over the world in a holy war and we should wake up to the fact" is a statement of fact, not hate speech.

It is not Islam, most of whom are aghast at the acts of the terrorists, but a few godless anarchists forming groups of terrorist cells under the guise of Islam. The terrorists are not Islamic. They claim to be Islamic, which means that true Muslims cannot say anything about the muslimness of terrorists, but these non-Muslims operating in disguise can say anything they want. Aljazeera and Alqaida are not Islamic, in spite of what they say.
