He said, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness. And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the … the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically. And that's really who he is.

umm yeah, ok Karenna...when "controlling legal authority" is involved or no? go sell this sh*t to some freshman at Berkley. The adults don't want to hear it anymore.

This is great! This is wonderful. It confirms all of my theories about the demonrats being sheltered by the OldDomiantLiberalMedia. Fantastic Freepers! I love you guys.

I especially love the quote " And where are our crowds?"

The liberals in this country are a bunch of paper tigers, kept in power only by the OldDomiantLiberalMedia, which is continually losing market share and clout.

Keep booking losers that no one is interested in what he has to say...dollars to donuts Walters doesn't ask him to comment about his backing of single payer medical insurance aka socialized medicine. Someone else will have to inform us cause I have lots better things to do on Friday nights than to sit in front of the boob tube and watch Al Bore.

Al, if you really want to do something good for this country, why don't you retire to France?

… an organized effort by, I don't know whether it was the RNC or it was … it was right-wing groups, it was definitely Bush-campaign-oriented effort to bus in people to have a sort of siege at the Vice President's house, and, so, they were all lining there, screaming, and it was kind of an assortment of groups. I mean, some of them were anti, um, were anti-abortion groups, and some of them were pro-gun groups, and some of them … they all had their different signs.

An assortment of groups...and it didn't occur to her for a second that it was THE PEOPLE!

They are so use to having their union friends organize every single "demonstration" for them, they must have been shocked at a spontaneous outpouring. Obviously they just cannot handle the fact that they are out of the mainstream thought in this world, then and now, and have to find some sort of justification for what went on outside that house.

Therefore, you HAVE to be a hater.

Troubling. Could this be an admission from Karenna that she and her fellow Democrat campaigners wanted to incite civil unrest by playing the race card?

Is she admitting that they considered actual confrontation? Is she admitting that they do, in fact, repeatedly play the race card in order to "win?" It appears to me that by using the words "have real unrest," she's practically admitting that is what it would have taken for him to win.

And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically.

Am I reading THIS wrong, or is she saying that Al could/would have won if they had incited a riot and "real unrest" -- and that they, the Dems, actually considered that as an option? That was one of their choices?

KRISTEN GORE: The crowds that were screaming outside our house, you know, "Get out of Cheney's house." And other things … of that nature, were really upsetting.

I think you should in person or freepers via email should set the record straight. We in no way yelled anything profane as the gore's imply that we did. We yelled "sore loserman", "learn how to vote", "gore is a chad abuser", "con---cede", "mean spirited, arrogant, condescending liberals", and a few others I can't remember, but there was nothing profane or upsetting about it. It was the democrats driving by that were yelling "no to drunk presidents" and giving the traditional democrat "one finger salutes" to us.

After Gore's concession speech, they forgot to mention our chants of "thank you Al". The next time we see gore, unfortuneately, I think we shall have to chant "gore is a liar" because it is true.

It's B.S. They didn't want to bring in counter-protestors in order to call attention to the FReeping. If there were counter-protests, then the press would be forced to cover it.

Exactly right.

The Radical Left Wingers ALWAYS ACCUSE US of doing what they do routinely.

What a neat trick.

We (leftwing crooks) cheat, lie, steal, bus in thugs and goons - so we will accuse you (US) of doing the same.

When the people on the "RIGHT" do NOT do those things!

Yes it was organized - right here - in the open - for the whole world to see. It was organized by people who were totally offended by the attempted theft of the 2000 Presidential Election and by the man whose "Political party" thugs were trying to force their will on America AGAINST THE WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!

I have not watched and will not watch one second of Barbara Wawa. The LIARS at ABC try - and fail - again.

I will tell you this though: I'm more concerned than EVER about the Democrats. They are cornered and I swear they will do whatever it takes -- say whatever it takes -- to win. We have to PRAY that people are beginning to see the light.

We just cannot let these people anywhere near power again.
