I suspect this feeling contributed to the Nov.5 rout. Too many of us remembered the aftermath of Nov 2000 and went out and voted.

I was just saying the same thing today. Election 2000 ended up motivating our side, not the Dems!

Have you ever noticed how often the Dems accuse us of doing something that is outrageous? It usually is something that they are already doing, or are planning to do shortly.

I was there on many VERY cold days - one day looked straight into Leslie Stahl's eyes as her limo was stopped at the red light before crossing to go into the Observatory.

I wonder why Barbara Wawa did not mention the forest of TV Satellite trucks and continuing reports from that intersection.

Lots of people should have known the truth about what was happening there. If they didn't see us on TV, it is only because the media are Enablers of the Dem party.

I watched the special. I've always been a fan of Tipper. She really does love her husband and she took on Hollywood when it wasn't cool. Like you I agree that Bush is the best man for the job. The man on TV tonight seemed like one more new Gore. A kinder gentler version, but still a new incarnation. If the man on TV tonight had run, he might have won. So many people in one body.

I either missed the part about Freepers or they didn't show it. I hope they didn't say the things that were reported earlier. Liberals always seem so pleasant when they deal with each other, then you see the dirty trick and lies when they deal with us.

i was there both morning & night (whenever i was not asleep or at work) and i NEVER heard any profanity and/or saw any buses unloading pro-Bush/Cheney demonstrators.

the strangest thing i did see was a lady in a mink coat (a PETA member, she said!), screaming her head off for not only albore but ANIMAL RIGHTS! she seemed OBSESSED by the "rights of the poor", as well.

As one of the proud Florida FReepers, I can tell you that the incident happened in West Palm Beach and was initiated by FReeper, Gene McDonald (aka: "SeekingTheTruth", who showed up with his bull horn and some other FReepers.

They positioned themselves right in front of the platform that was set up for Jackass Jackson to speak from and shouted him down. (I've pinged Gene to this thread, and he can give more details if he likes).

When the whole mess was transferred to Tallahasse, Fl., many of us headed up there and spent the weekend protesting in front of the State Capitol. C-Span carried our protest and I have it on videotape. LOL

Some of us were in the Judge Sanders Saul freep in Tallahassee as well. I saw myself on C-Spam several times the next day. The counter-demonstrators were a rag-tag bunch of about a half-dozen left-over '60's flotsam and jetsam, strumming guitars badly and singing worse.

I have the tape. C-Spam gave us pretty good coverage at this particular freep.
