And how long before the developement of a "wide area remote jammers" (to be be used only during times of civil disorder) that would render every weapon, other than those used by the anointed, nonfiring?

Exactly, a little EMP and the firearm is useless.

You don't have to worry about law enforcement; they are exempt from all this insanity; no, its your butt (or your family's) that will be on the line if your battery fails at a critical moment. The smart gun BS was always a prelude to disarm the citizenry.

Oh, wonderful! I thought this was supposed to keep cops from getting shot with their own guns, but they're exempt, so I guess I'm not worried about the Barney Fifes of the world. And as long as I can get ammo for my 1911A1, I'm not worried about myself, either.
