Excellent description of Gore. When I heard Gore's recent "zeitgiest" (sp?) and "narcissism" remarks I thought "what a ...... idiot, er savant. Yah, that's it, savant."

It is the duty of the Left to prevent us from seeing the obvious, to lie to us when we do see it, and to shame us when we refuse to deny reality. Intellectual dishonesty is the cornerstone of Leftist argument. When they are caught out in their attempts to force others to see reality through their shattered lens, they attack. They are so noble, so moral; submit or be considered an ineffable little s..t in their eyes.

Normally I would agree that such bashing on this forum is somehow unseemly. Then I reflect on who is being bashed and it all makes sense.

Again, we must toast the fine folks of Al's supposedly home state of Tennessee for not buying it. Can you imagine Al as Commander in Chief after 9/11? Would he beg the terrorists to please leave us alone or would he just surrender, declare victory and shake the taliban down for campaign contributions.

I agree. I have no problem with Gore-bashing when our credibility isn't on the line. On FR it is though and we should be a bit more careful and not give the impression that we're falsely accusing.

Yeah you're right, just like Clinton did. As much as I despised Clinton, I thought he would do something about Saddam and terrorism when we were attacked during his presidency. I told my friends that he'd have'em all killed because that's what he does to people that dis him. But I guess he was too afraid to disupt the economy. That legacy thing was more important than the security of our citizens and he thought that the legacy was dependant on the economy alone.

I don't know that it was meant to look sexy. I wouldn't wear high shorts but that's me. A lot of men still wear high shorts. To make the leap into what some here have implied is too far of a leap.
