Pope Urban II used love of Jesus and hatred of Muslims to motivate his troops at the beginning of the Crusades. Urban actually called Muslims "infidels."

He, GASP!!!!, called them WHAT???? Infidels? How dare he!

Someone e-mail this writer an online link to a dictionary. Of course a Catholic would call a muslim an infidel, just as a muslim would call a Catholic:

This is silly. It is the very definition of the word. Urban might just as well have called them muslims, its not any more insulting. I seriously hope the rest of the article got better than the excerpted portion.

If you are a Christian, pull up the "God Hates Fags" Web site put out by the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kan. and see if it reflects your beliefs.

Yes, posting a website is the same as flying planes into buildings, bombing discos, taking hostages, ritually mutilating women, and executing pregnant women for having sex. This guy needs more than a dictionary.

I am so tired of hearing this distorted nonsense about the crusades. The crusades were a political response to Muslim arrogance; nothing more, nothing less. This is quite simply a feeble attempt by Mr. Thomas to justify Muslim aggression and hatred.
Furthermore, although I don't have the numbers in hand at this point in time, I believe that there were just as many Christians killed during the Crusades as there were Muslims.
The crusades are just one of many Historical examples which illustrate the absolute folly of men appointing themselves to be spokesmen for God.

It's pretty sad when the truth can't be spoken due to political correctness. Well, Mike Thomas, get used to it islamics are infidels. And that's being nice.

Just by reading their own holy book you can label them as liers, adulterers, abusers, murderers and more. If you include the other writings of mohammed and writing about mohammed you can call them child molesters (mohammeds wife was nine (9!!!) when he raped her the first time).

Islamics are a curse upon the earth that was caused when Abraham committed adultery against Sara by impregnating her servant. (Just because the wife says it's OK doesn't mean that God says it's OK)

All islamics need to be converted or eradicated. The war will continue as long as the poison of islam infests the earth. (Because the holy book of islam commands the islamics to fight against the non-islamic. They are not allowed by their religion to live in peace)
