Two polls have appeared on Freerepublic. One was an internal GOP poll that showed Terrell with a slight lead.

The other was a public poll that showed Terrell up by 48% to either 42% or 40% for Landrieu (I have to look it up). There were a few percent undecided.

Pretty soon a few of them are going to figure out that they have been "had." But probably not before they get around to reelecting Mary Landrieu Snellings.

If this poll is right, I expect Mary to defer the rest of the campaign to John Breaux, who can figure out how to win it for her. Breaux has never lost a LA election, a record that Edwin Washington Edwards, his mentor now living in Fort Worth, cannot even match. People in LA "worship" John Breaux.
