McCain Clarifies Limbaugh Attack

When it finally sinks into McCain's mind that he doesn't have a shot at being a republican backed Presidential candidate; he might just jump ship. I don't trust him at all. McCain first, the Country second, is what comes across to me.

Has everyone noticed how the "just entertainment" comment (about *all* conservative talk radio, not just Rush) is the scripted "talking point" for the Democrat talking heads over the past few days?

That "just entertainers" comment has been around for years. I remember when I first heard it and started listening to right wing talk radio years ago.

My take then was that if the socialists didn't respond to a non stop barage of right wing propaganda on talk radio that they would be "entertained" out of office.

That has happend now.

Here are my comments on another FR thread awhile back:
"A factor in the last election success of the Republicans , IMHO , is the years of unrelenting 24/7 right wing propaganda espoused by Rush, Savage and others against the socialists, is starting to sink in to the voting public.

I don't think these guys get enough credit for influencing the voters.

Other than via the Internet,If they weren't on the air how would the message get out against the socialists and the lamestream press.

I've been listening to Rush, off and on, for a long time, and I don't recall a single time he got his FACTS wrong about McCain. He might have expressed an opinion that was in error by lack of further proof, but never has Rush stated a wrong FACT about McCain, as far as my faulty memory can recollect.

Incidentally, I don't agree with Rush on everything. He's an entertainer and uses the extreme as his method of hooking. For instance, he claims there's no such thing as a moderate, yet I believe the majority of American citizens ARE moderates, and that's one reason why they don't usually vote! It is the polarized citizens who've the gumption to get out and vote ... and that's something we freepers ought to be working on, trying to motivate the usually non-voting citizens to go to the polls and make a statement, to the parties and to the terrorists that Americans are united in their resolve to assert their sovereignty! It is that sovereignty that separates us from the vast hordes of the world.]
