Seagal has an almost taunting confidence, with some justification. But he's also aging and not a kid any more.

Steven Seagal is a nationel embarrassment. When one sees him scurring about the screen one can't help but wonder if he doesn't spend way too much of his time in those SanFran bathhouses (I bet he throws like a girl too!)

I think Seagull only has one script, but just changes the names of the characters.

Looks like Steven is lucky to have a bit of SEAL background...

When I first read about this--I cared little. Segal is known as a very strange man--who fabricated storiest that he was involved with the CIA and other "high level sh%t" (his words).
But now I see that Pellicano a member of the Clinton Good Squad has been arrested.
Pellicano has a lot to say if he wanted to talk. He knows this, and his former "clients" know this.
I wonder if he will get a chance to use his "friends" to get out of some difficulty.

I'll take Shinichi "Sonny" Chiba over Seagal any day.Chiba also has a black belt in Okinawa style karate.

Steven Seagal is another martial arts star that really has a serious martial arts background. As a young man, Seagal saw Morehei Ueshiba, founder of aikido, demonstrate the flowing, throwing art in a class. He was hooked. Seagal ended up living in Japan for 15 years, married his instructor's daughter, and became one of the highest-ranking gaijin (foreigners) in aikido.
Seagal also holds black belt rank in kenjutsu, combat with the Japanese sword, and has trained in karate, judo, and jujitsu as well. Seagal began teaching aikido in Japan, breaking traditions as one of the first non-Japanese to start his own school. He continued teaching in Hollywood upon his return, which led to his movie career. Seagal is now becoming known as the leader of a Buddhist religious sect.

Pellicano is a member of the Clinton Secret Police Goon Squad Goon Squad is right!
This guy fits the Clinton profile for sleaze and behind-the-scenes hits on selected enemies.
Hillary has his phone number on her Rolodex--or, more likely, memorized.
Here's a little clip that gives a hint at why this sweetheart was hand-picked by Bubba.
Playing for keeps
Cruise, the 38-year-old Top Gun and Mission: Impossible star, and Kidman have hired the most notorious detectives to dig up any dirt that could sway the [divorce]judges.
It is understood Cruise has told his lawyers to hire ace private eye Anthony Pellicano - nicknamed The Big Sleazy.
He gained fame as a take-no-prisoners dirt-digger for clients such as Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Sylvester Stallone, Priscilla Presley, James Woods and Roseanne Barr.
Pellicano once said of himself: "I always start out being a gentleman. I only use intimidation and fear when I absolutely have to."
The private eye assisted Mark Fuhrman, one of the police in the OJ Simpson murder case, to fight charges of racism.
In 1992, Pellicano bragged to GQ magazine that he had once beaten somebody with a baseball bat on behalf of a client.
When President Bill Clinton was being probed over his Whitewater dealings, his lawyers hired Pellicano to dig up dirt on Clinton's opponents.

Agreed. All one has to do is watch "Out For Justice" to see Segal at his peak. He has aged without question. A lot of camera tricks now. But he could probably still kick everyones asses on this thread...mine included.

Pellicano, who did not respond to a reporter's requests for an interview, has admitted to resorting to strong-arm tactics. He's bragged about beating somebody with a baseball bat on behalf of a client.

From Reuters, 10/27/02: ....[A] federal magistrate in Los Angeles denied bail for Alexander Proctor because of his prior drug and burglary convictions and prosecutors' claim that he is a flight risk, Assistant U.S. Attorney Daniel Saunders said.
Proctor, 58, was arrested outside his West Los Angeles home earlier that day by a team of Los Angeles police and FBI organized crime agents. He was charged with a single charge of interfering with commerce by threats of violence, for allegedly trying to stop the Times and Busch from printing the stories.
If convicted he could receive up to 20 years in jail.

actually Segal publicly denies he was ever with the CIA...but probably floated that rumor himself.
he's still a bum. he left ditched his wife and kid in Japan after he met a new woman in the states. This after he had left his family in japan for a year or so.

I'll take Frank Shamrock or Tito Ortiz over either of them...

Seagal's fighting skills are outstanding. He's an accomplished martial artist. The stuff he did in "Above The Law" would work in the real world, if you had the strength and speed. Of course in the bar fight they wouldn't have fought him one at a time.

Man, does that bring back memories. It's easy to forget (because of the horror of it all) just how evil the Clintons really are. Evil to their very core.
Also, it's hard to remember a time when NewsMax was actually a vital source of alternative news. After the Clintons' power waned, it became a parody of itself.
