With the way things are going, Mohammedanism will soon rule the world.
Get ready Eleanor Smeal, Martha Burk and all the rest of you Multiculturalists out there. Soon acid will be thrown in your face if you dare venture outside without a veil.

Uh, no, he bowed down, Muslim style, to a false god that Muslims say exists.

> Christians should be highlighting the differences not the similarities in our religons.
Paul did both. On Mars Hill he first established common ground and then preached his doctrine. But that was open public space. We have no record of him joining in worship at a pagan temple in order to then preach. Neither can I imagine him doing so.
We do have him in Jewish synagogues, but at a time when Jewish-Christian relations were still amicable. When the hostilities became too great, even that seems to have come to an end (acts 18.6).
IOW, I have no problem with a Christian being at an open public meeting with those of other faiths. I do have major problems with what Law did here.

Why is this placating of Muslims taking place all over the country?
I guess those in higher positions are suffering a victim's guilt. It really was our fault those planes crashed into the WTC.
It has to be! Schools are putting in Islamic prayer rooms, national ads on TV are telling me that we are all the same and the attacks on Muslims must stop (although I haven't heard of any), Colin Powell wants more to come to the country.
What the hell is going on? Are we afraid if we don't kowtow to their demands of tolerance they'll attack again? They will! Bank on it.

No, it's not the world's culture that's the problem, it's a failure of faith, beginning at the top.

Why is a Catholic praising Allah?
To: sarasmom
I begin to understand Catholic bashing.
Being a deist, and not a Christian, I am shocked and sickened by this cardinal's actions. While I eschew organised religions personally,I respect them, and this type of behavior from a Christian Catholic leader is ...I cant find words to explain my revulsion.
When I think of the struggles and sacrifices my previously married Catholic friends endured in order to faithfully and honorably follow the tenants of their faith to marry in their church,in order to take Catholic communion, I am speechless..........
I sincerely hope they do not hear of this abject example of naked hypocracy any time soon.Cardinal Law is not truly a believer in Catholisism.Even one such as myself can see that clearly.

Cardinal Law shares prayers, feast, hope with Muslims
The highlight of the event was when they shared a group of young hairless Castrati boys, and a pack of goats that the head Islamazi brought as a welcome gift...a carnal time was had by all! And after GHB and roofies were administered, the risk of lawsuits was minimized!
Can I assume all the RCC folk on FR are as offended by this POS from Boston Dioscese as I am...or am I being naive?

You're being naive. There are some (the numbers dwindle) that fawn all over him and any other Bishop.
To: sarasmom
No person who knows Christ as their savior and Lord would ever do that, even if forced with a gun to their head. They would die first.

...The bishop [Cardinal Law] knelt with his forehead just inches from the carpet and offered praise to Allah. This kind of "co-worship" certainly can't be condoned by Rome, can it??

This kind of "co-worship" certainly can't be condoned by Rome, can it?? Yes. The Pope prays with Muslim Imams frequently.

"The Pope prays with Muslim Imams frequently."Really?? But aren't they praying to two different "Gods"?
To: F16Fighter
The Pope is not joining Pat Robertson's jihad against innocent Muslims either, if you'll notice. Of course, he and George W. Bush aren't trying to raise money by pandering to their bases, as Falwell and Robertson are.

Really?? But aren't they praying to two different "Gods"? No. They both pray to the One God.
We Catholics don't think we own God as some evangelicals do.

It was Sunday, and Cardinal Bernard F. Law had come to pray. So, wearing a gold crucifix and a flowing black robe with red trim, Law removed his shoes. Then, as the imam chanted the sunset prayers, the bishop knelt with his forehead just inches from the carpet and offered praise to Allah. What, no Barf Alert?
(And what's worse, Cardinal Law is our Ecclesiastical Delegate...)
Some days I have to keep reminding myself that Our Lord promised to preserve His Church. St. Paul would puke.
Fellow Catholics: Tonight I intend to pray a decade of the Rosary for the intention of purifying the church of all heresy and apostasy. I implore you to join with me in this intention when you pray.
Dear Mary, how long will you see your sons and daughters suffer under unfaithful bishops? Holy Mary, intercede for us before your Son! Holy St. Joseph, Patron of the Church, pray to Christ for us! Holy St. Michael, bear the Sword of God for us against every enemy of the Church!
This is sad. May Jesus Christ deliver His Church from apostasy.
