Somebody puruse Lanny Davis' tell all book for some names he mentions as he tells all about how the WH manipulated the media, just as we had contended. Bad news always broke late on a Friday so that by Monday, Stephanoupolis would claim, "That's old news" and refuse comment.

Lanny outed Doyle McManus as his bitch at the LAT. There was an NYT one and an AP one but I can't recall the names right now.

Wonder if Gore wants to broaden his remarks to include the Clinton WH?

Was speaking to Kristinn today and he reminded me that the Washington Post editors used to provide the Clinton White House with advance notice before stories came out. That gave the Clintonistas time to prepare responses or even try to have the story spiked.
