What you all have been waiting for!!! I don't suppose it'll be disrupted like the beauty contest was in Nigeria.

I wonder if there will be display of the whips used on them when they don't conform to "standards"?

How many different ways are there to cover one's body with bolts of ugly opaque fabric? (And this isn't a parody, is it?)

Is that a muslim women's fashion show or a KKK rally? You'll have to look under the sheets to tell. But then who wants that job.

Seriously, isn't all the veiling expressly done to not draw the masculine eye? Won't a beautiful silken thingamajiggy draw attention to wearer? This is against Islam, methinks. Yanqui devils!

Does anyone remember the old Wendy's commericials (I think it was Wendy's) from the 80's, satirizing the USSR - it was a fashion show where the models were hefty babushkas wearing shapeless grey smocks; each run on the catwalk was by the same hefty "model" in the same grey smock, only the babushka would be holding a different item; ie, holding a beach ball ("beachk vear!") or holding a flashlight ("eveningk vear!"), etc.

I always wondered how women ate while wearing a burqa. It then came to me they only have to thread straws through the mesh of the burqa becase as their husbands had already knocked out all their wife's teeth.

What are they going to model, and how are they going to enhance the clothing with everything covered except their eyeballs? I think dark eyes are beautiful. However, too much of concentrating on one thing and one style like chadors and burkas can turn a person off. This has gotta be a joke, right?

Yves Saint Laurent’s use to make designer robes and veils for sale in Islamic countries. Except for the fabric and the little YSL logo they looked just like any other robe and veil.
