Pat Robertson held his own against the always clueless Stephie beautifully.
On second thought Stephanopolous(sp?) isn't clueless; he's willfully ignorant.

The rift is already there, because of Bush and Powell's comments calling Pat and others names.
To: dreamusic
Bush called Pat names??? ... I haven't heard that one
Bush may disagree with folks .. but I have never heard him call anyone a name

Tony Snow discussing a very important topic shoulder fired missiles and commercial airplanes. If one of these brings down a commercial airliner it will be the final nail in the coffin of the airline industry (my opinion).Unless they hush it up and blame a fuel tank explosion, of course.

Thanks, I'll be anxious to e-mail a Ketchup Boy picture around as soon as Kerry's gets into the race.

Where were the Saudi troops, when distressed Moslem populations needed help? Weren't they on the sidelines singing, "Onward Christian Soldiers"?

Ketchup Boy gets a full hour to announce his 2004 Presidential exploratory committee? ... That can only mean his NY Times endorsement will be announced next week. Totally! Isn't it sickening the way they don't even try to hide their full-fledged partisanship. They think the American public is too stupid to know when they are being sold a load of crap!
Tim Russert is such a suck up!

That's a great point Mo, I hadn't thought about it. I never watch ABC anymore til the end - just to see George Will. So, I missed it.
Mo, I often get the feeling, that Chris is an old time Democrat. He hated Clinton(s) and what they did to his party. I separate the two factions - the ultra-liberal left wing commies, and the Zell Miller/John Breaux type of Democrats. I think Chris belongs to the latter group. JMHO.
Irish Eyes, in our area (Philadelphia) Chris is on at 10 a.m., right before MTP. The same in the DC area.
Just FYI, MTP is repeated at 10pm on CNBC, and Tony Snow is repeated at 6pm on FNC. For those who have a life, I guess. LOL

Well I do hate to say this but Kerry is cute
Well, I don't think so, but that's JMHO. Teresa's first husband, John Heinz was a very handsome man. Put him next to Kerry and he(Kerry) looks like a horse face. Teresa Heinz was (is?) such a beautiful woman - I don't get what she saw in Kerry. I read somewhere that Kerry's first wife was quite wealthy. Not in the same league as the Heinz money, but when you have nothing, like Kerry did, hey! beggars can't be choosers.

I don't there is any serious rift between Robertson and the Bush administration. Robertson knows that Bush can't publicly denounce Islam even if he believes it privately. I am sure Bush welcomes others doing the 'Slam slam knowing that in his position as President he can't do it himself.

"I don't there is any serious rift between Robertson and the Bush administration. Robertson knows that Bush can't publicly denounce Islam even if he believes it privately" I videotaped the interview this morning. Robertson finally said what he should have been saying all along. It's waaaaay past time. Here is the gist of what was said:
ABC This Week - Sunday - 12-1-02 with George Stephanopolis
At the beginning of the segment with Pat Robertson, Stephie shows a clip of Bush (in answer to a reporter's question), saying: "There have been comments made by some prominent, well-known personalities that do not reflect the position of this Administration, nor the majority of the American people. Islam, as practiced by most Muslims, is a peaceful religion."
Stephie said to Pat Robertson, "It sounds as if you are saying that it [Islam] is evil at it's core."
Robertson replied, "I didn't say it is evil at its core, I said it is violent at its core.
Bush is very smart not to set this up as a holy war, even though his words have caused confusion among many Christians.
But they [his words] are politically smart because he's dealing with geo-political realities. His use of the terms is artful, but his base (Christians) know better."
Stephie said, "But his words have caused consternation among many in his base, so what do you think the consequences of that will be?"
Robertson said, "No consequences among his base because we all love him. We know that Bush doesn't want to make this a Muslim/Christian fight. And we know that the terrorists have always tried to make it that."

but his base (Christians) know better."No the Christians that elected him and gave him the Nov. victory THINK they know better
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks..
That " base " had best look at the republicans that were run in November and see how many look like them and how many look like face lifted Lizzy Dole .....surprise surprise the cultural Conservatives grow smaller in representitive number and power all the time under Bushes leadership
If you are a New World Order , rich Republican you have your man in the White house..

I think you missed the point.
To: Matchett-PI
Ohh I got the point ok...I very much got the point
Robertson has his sheeple marching orders..but the payback will be a bitch when the religious conservative open their eyes
