Thursday, 5 Dec, Lynne Cheney and Mary Matalan will join Suzie for a Republican Women's Roundtable luncheon at the Wyndham in Metairie at 1:45pm

I hope ol' Serpent-head Carville is having a fit about his wife campaigning in his home state against the DemoRat.

Good morning FReepers...

As Pres. Bush was shown walking to
Marine 1 a few minutes ago, Steve D.
& Kirin C. said Terrell will need a
lot of help because Landrieu leads in
the polls by nearly 20 pts.

I SWEAR that is what they said!

It was so STUPID it was FUNNY.

But it also made me ANGRY that FOX
of all things would report so poorly
about something so important.

Anyone else see/hear this?

TERRELL v. LANDRIEU--DEBATE 4
The question that goes to the heart of the matter: (Would you support Bush's decision to go into Iraq if the UN doesn't find weapons of mass destruction?)

by Mia T, 12.03.02

Landrieu's lame answer, an absurdity born out of arrogance and stupidity, reveals why Landrieu and the Democrats are KAPUT. FINIS. HISTOIRE.

It was hard not to notice that the reporter who posed the question couldn't believe Landrieu's illogic--stupidity, really... Landrieu doesn't seem to understand that clintonian sleight of hand has become very old for 'the people of Louisiana.' Landrieu doesn't seem to understand that even her own constituency gets it now...

What Landrieu said was this:

No, she wouldn't support a Bush decision to go into Iraq if no weapons of mass destruction are found, but added, as if to assure us,that as a very important person who sits on very important committees that are privy to very important classified info, she is certain that Iraq does have weapons of mass destruction.

Landrieu fails to understand that her own statement expressing certainty about the existence of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction renders her answer patently absurd...and renders her own very important self in the eyes of 'the people of Louisiana' quite dangerous.

Landrieu fails to understand that even her most dimwitted, disinformed, demagogued-for-decades-by-democrats constituent understands on a gut level--and even without her own statement of certainty--that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, and that, therefore, Landrieu--and the rest of the Democrats--and, frankly, anyone who pushed for the internally inconsistent construct lunacy called UN inspections--are patently unfit to lead, especially in a post-9/11 world.

I believe the debate was carried only in New Orleans.

I watched it on the local Baton Rouge station and I think it was viewed statewide.

Glad to hear it. Terrell wiped the floor with her especially in the closing statement. I am glad it got wider circulation.

I agree about Terrell's closing statement...I wonder why she didn't utilize it more often in the debate; tying Landrieu into Ted Kennedy was superb.

Terrell did try another tactic like this: showing Landrieu was barely in touch with fellow Southerner Trent Lott...but her real strength was the comparison rating between Landrieu, Kennedy, and Breaux.

I hope Suzanne opens a can of whupass on Mary come Election Day.

"Wednesday, 4 Dec, Suzie will travel by bus with Ralph Reed to Natchitoches, West Monroe, Monroe and Alexandria. Lee Alexander, Republican candidate for John Cooksey's congressional seat will join Suzie and Ralph Reed. "

Oh, YIKES, I goofed ! Thank you. Yes, Lee Fletcher is the Pubbie and Rodney Alexander is the dim.

Is it my imagination, or does Landrieu look like a tired, chubby little Hillary-wannabe?

Is there anywhere y'all can call to complain about the OBVIOUS favoritism towards Landrieu in this debate.?? Personally, I think Suzie Terrell looks very clean, and professional and she is certainly not ugly. Mary on the otherhand while somewhat "cute" does look stretched and stressed - BIG TIME. I wish someone would show a before and after pic of her. Maybe Terrell should tie into the "black vote thingy" and point out that Landrieu brags about how she has the support of all the black folk automatically!! If I were a black person, I would be sincerely put off by that rather presumption superiority attitude.

Well if the Preacher that I know from Baton Rougue (sp) is any example, Miss Mary WILL NOT get away with dancing around the abortion question or any other morality questions for that matter.

The list of well known Pubbies helping Suzie is impressieve and changes or firms up daily. When I posted that list JC Watts had not yet been confirmed but he campaigned with her in Lake Charles last night.
