A whole bunch of idiots - and they must hate Jews a lot to take this stand. It's embarrassing and goofy.

A veritable who's who of idiots, morons, anti-Americans, and leftwingers. But I'm glad the list is up so I can avoid their movies, and thank God Britney isn't on there!

I want some advice, from Winona Ryder, Robert Downey, Jr. and Ozzy Osborne. Why aren't they on the list?

I really admire people like them, and I need to know their opinion on matters of international affairs, politics, national security and war. Not. </sarcasm>

Seriously. These people want peace. Little do they know, that Bush's policy of being willing to use force, will make for a far more peaceful world.

Someone should petition these unknowns and has-beens to stop calling themselves 'Hollywood celebrities'.

Legendary SF author Ursula K. LeGuin led a march in Portland, Ore., on Dec. 6 to deliver a writers' and artists' petition against war on Iraq to Oregon Rep. David Wu. The march was part of a weekly peace rally hosted by the Portland Peaceful Response Coalition, an antiwar group.

LeGuin (The Lathe of Heaven) led a group of 50 protesters from Portland's Pioneer Square to Wu's office, where she expressed her gratitude for Wu's vote against a proposed war and urged that the congressman continue to do all that he could to stop military action. She also presented Wu with a petition signed by more than 225 writers, including SF&F authors Terry Bisson, Jeffrey Ford, James Patrick Kelly, SCI FICTION editor Ellen Datlow, Karen Joy Fowler, Michael Moorcock, John Kessel, Lisa Goldstein and Kelly Link.

Oh I guess Jackson Browne only wants peace from the government - I imagine when he was smacking the shit out of Darryl Hanna that was a little different.......SHE probably asked for it.

Yes, but how else are we to be "informed" on such weighty issues unless CNN allows intellectual luminaries like Garofalo enough time to help form our vascilating opinions??

Meanwhile, Jay Leno is being productive, appearing on broadcasts to Iran teaching the youths about the subversiveness of humor. He's about the only Hollywood type doing anything that is productive and not narcissistic.

Ed Asner -- now there's somebody who ruined his career by his Communist politics. What a group of losers.

Leno has had Dennis Miller on his show several times to praise Bush, rip Democrats and say "Of course, we have to knock off Saddam!" Come to think of it, even Ozzy Osbourne has expressed support for Bush killing terrorists. Apparently, even Ozzy's brain functions better than the ones of the people who signed this letter.

John Fugelsang was that Unfunny man who co-hosted America's Funniest Home Videos with the Untalented Daisy Fuentes when the Unfunny Bob Saget left the show.

His name sounds more like a brass instrument in an orchestra.

A Houston radio station is raising money to place a full paid ad in Variety in response to these morons. It's going to happen, but it won't get any network news coverage, I suspect.
