I want some advice, from Winona Ryder, Robert Downey, Jr. and Ozzy Osborne. Why aren't they on the list?

I really admire people like them, and I need to know their opinion on matters of international affairs, politics, national security and war. Not. </sarcasm>

Seriously. These people want peace. Little do they know, that Bush's policy of being willing to use force, will make for a far more peaceful world.

Legendary SF author Ursula K. LeGuin led a march in Portland, Ore., on Dec. 6 to deliver a writers' and artists' petition against war on Iraq to Oregon Rep. David Wu. The march was part of a weekly peace rally hosted by the Portland Peaceful Response Coalition, an antiwar group.

LeGuin (The Lathe of Heaven) led a group of 50 protesters from Portland's Pioneer Square to Wu's office, where she expressed her gratitude for Wu's vote against a proposed war and urged that the congressman continue to do all that he could to stop military action. She also presented Wu with a petition signed by more than 225 writers, including SF&F authors Terry Bisson, Jeffrey Ford, James Patrick Kelly, SCI FICTION editor Ellen Datlow, Karen Joy Fowler, Michael Moorcock, John Kessel, Lisa Goldstein and Kelly Link.

Yes, but how else are we to be "informed" on such weighty issues unless CNN allows intellectual luminaries like Garofalo enough time to help form our vascilating opinions??

Meanwhile, Jay Leno is being productive, appearing on broadcasts to Iran teaching the youths about the subversiveness of humor. He's about the only Hollywood type doing anything that is productive and not narcissistic.

Leno has had Dennis Miller on his show several times to praise Bush, rip Democrats and say "Of course, we have to knock off Saddam!" Come to think of it, even Ozzy Osbourne has expressed support for Bush killing terrorists. Apparently, even Ozzy's brain functions better than the ones of the people who signed this letter.

John Fugelsang was that Unfunny man who co-hosted America's Funniest Home Videos with the Untalented Daisy Fuentes when the Unfunny Bob Saget left the show.

His name sounds more like a brass instrument in an orchestra.

Gillian Anderson is currently bombing in a West End London theatre production.

I question whether London makes US celebrities go wacko, or if wacko celebrities are just drawn to London.

Why do third rate, C-list celebrities, virtually unknown by 95% of the great unwashed rate 10 minutes of face time on CNN?

Gillian Anderson is currently bombing in a West End London theatre production.

X-Files star Gillian Anderson is marrying her boyfriend Julian Ozanne - after a five week whirlwind relationship. The American star, who has moved to London to appear in new play What The Night Is For, is reportedly smitten with the British documentary film-maker, who proposed a fortnight ago and is planning a Italian wedding on August 2 next year. Anderson, 34, had met Ozanne earlier this year in Kenya, where he was working for a British newspaper, but their friendship quickly blossomed into romance after she relocated to London this summer with her daughter Piper, from her previous marriage to Clyde Klotz. A friend says, "They are completely in love. Julian is a wonderful chap. He is gregarious and a lot of fun. We're all so happy for them. When they told friends that they were engaged no one was shocked in the least. They are so perfect for each other. He really makes her laugh and it's so lovely to see them together."

I saw Jeananne Garofalo interviewed on CNN Headline News this afternoon. The un-biased news-reader who interviewed her, and his Producer gave her at least 5 minutes to spew her retarded anti-war views.

This show how several freepers were wrong when they claimed Jeananne Garofalo was actually Shiloh Bucher and had become a Republican.

Reports of my being Janeane Garofolo are greatly exaggerated! She does, however, bear a striking resemblance to me.

Why I am no longer a Democrat (Janeane Garafalo's "up yours" to the Dems)

Mike was early to the party back in '81, blowing kisses to the Ortegas and fawning over Patti Davis as she decided to embarrass her father. He's never had any trouble with a Commie dictator, only with strong American leaders who tried to thwart them and their plans.Oh yeah, he's got game, that Mike Farrell ;-)

I started a little list with people sho have played violent roles and are against this little military exercise in diplomacy.

I notice Danny Glover is listed, guess I have to throw out my copy of Silverado and any Lethal Weapons I may have.

Larry Fishburne, there goes my copy of A. Now, which also stars Martin Sheen.

Feel free to add to the list.

BTW I never did like Jackson Browne Music

"Why do third rate, C-list celebrities, virtually unknown by 95% of the great unwashed rate 10 minutes of face time on CNN?"

A. Because they are commie pinkos, the C-list celebrities are glady accepted at CNN.

B. Because they want to get air time any way they can since they are probably unemployed actors and actresses.
