The day the election snafu was finally sorted out my stepson looked at me and said, "so what does this mean?" And I replied that it meant tomorrow he'd see an immediate 100X increase in articles on homelessness, death of the earth etc...

How right I was...

..."advocating a solution to the homeless problem: give the homeless houses."

The best liberal 'solution' that I have ever heard to the 'homeless' problem was this:

When a homeowner defaults on his mortgage he should be evicted and the home given to a homeless person.

D'uh!!! Well, isn't that person now homeless? Whose home is going to be 'given' to them? Stupid libs.

Crystal ball says, buy Eli Lilly and Co., makers of hot antipsychotic drug Zyprexa. Crystal ball does not lie.

The answer to the problem of homelessness is easy: When someone is homeless, give them a home. This is the wealthiest nation in the world. Not one person ought to be living without the comfort and the basic right of a safe and comfortable home, family, food and health care.

Boy, that's a hoot. Now the libs want to guarantee everyone a family.

All kidding aside, you can't solve poverty by giving people money (or homes). And most homelessness is due to substance abuse and/or mental illness - problems worsened by liberal policies over the last few decades.

A Republican and a Democrat are walking down the street and come upon a homeless person. The Republican gives the person $15.00 and a business card, telling him to start work at his business the next morning.

They go a few more blocks and come upon another homeless person. The Democrat does not want to be shown-up, so he gives the person directions to the nearest welfare office and then reaches into the Republican's pocket and takes $15.00- gives $5.00 to the person and keeps $10.00 as administrative costs.

Susy Zelaya, a homeless person, lives in Oceanside.

Susy Zelaya is an unemployed college graduate with a degree in Advanced Womyn's Studies who lives in the home of her parents, uses a bicycle to go to the corner market for her daily ration of tofu, and has as much hair on her upper lip as on her legs.

Could you make a "Thread of Threads", with listings of all the trolls of the day? They're very entertaining & I'd hate to miss one.

Could this be the same "Homeless Susy"?

From:http://www.gargaro.com/newsquotes.html You stupid girl; abortion works and there ought to be more of them. It's not right to bring more people into this already crowded nd poverty stricken world. If Clinton should be impeached then George Bush should be executed. Conservatives are by and large violent and idiotic, they make the same mistakes over and over. At least a scholar is elected into government rather then war mongering idiots of the past. It'll be a hard pill to swallow when you're infected and sick from misplaced priorities; better get your bearings.

I really appreciate my own good fortune, having seen so many examples of how bad it could have been.

Anyone who says they have "good fortune" are discounting themselves, their abilities, and their good choices in life.

Anyone who uses the term "less fortunate" is discounting everyone else as "more fortunate", not as "made better decisions" or "worked hard for what they have".

"There, but for the grace of God, go I."
Another canard. "I could have been homeless, I just got lucky."
"There, but for my good decisions, and making the most of my God given talents, and the good fortune of being a citizen of a free country, go I."

advocating a solution to the homeless problem: give the homeless houses

Great! Then the homeless can start paying property taxes.

Anyone notice the issue of homelessness said bye-bye while Billy Jeff was staining up the White House? These people are so predictable it's sickening.
