Wit Lott in charge its only a matter if time. He managed to lose the majority once I'm sure he will be quicker the second time. He certainly has left the gates sprinting.
With Lott in charge its only a matter of time. He managed to lose the majority once. I'm sure he will be quicker the second time. He certainly has left the gates sprinting this time.
You're kidding right?
You're the one promoting this concept of "white fear" as motivation for something you either cannot or refuse to bring yourself to terms with.
You refuse the face the reality of what has really happened with Lott and why most conservatives think he should step down.
So you are now resorting to the role of FR message board shrink to psychoanalyze and assign hidden motivations to those who you can't make agree with you.
This is silly and will convince no one.
You don't speak for others and anybody reading these boards and conservative opinion columns can see you are totally missing the point.
When it comes to "white fear" it sounds more like you are projecting your own feelings onto others.
White Fear
Exclusive Commentary by Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson President BOND
One wordracisthas been elevated to a sacred status, to the point now where even the threat of being labeled racist causes whites to cower to the wishes of blacks. The fact is that the civil rights leaders and elite liberal Democrats are at fault for the poor condition of the black community, not white racism. But, having largely given in to their lies, the white culture is suffering not only because blacks are free to be immoral without complaint,

If forced segregation was wrong in 1948, then so is forced integration in 2002.
I've read these articles by Jesse Peterson before, and the fact is this "white fear" applies more to some white liberals than it does to conservatives.
Liberals are the ones who believe this nonsense that blacks cannot be racists, only whites can be racists yada yada yada.
Conservatives in general believe in treating all men as equals, and don't suscribe to the racist patronizing attitude Jesse is addressing.
That is why Jesse is so popular among conservatives (and resented by the left). They agree with him on that this white fear nonsense is wrong. They reject it like he does.
By the way, I lived a great deal of my adult life with more blacks than whites, shared apts with several black friends, and more than once lived in almost completely black neighborhoods.
I didn't have one bit of a problem stating my opinion of Jesse Jackson, or speaking my mind when somebody black said something I considered racist against whites or jews or whoever.
I didn't worry about being politically correct, or patronizing and certainly wasn't inhibited by this so-called "white fear" which you are so obsessed with.
I just treated people like people and did fine.
Great point!
Certain parties want it both ways: being able to exclude whites whenever they want to, but mandate quotas for black representation wherever they see that as an advantage
