Posts 10 and 11 are the plot of "Enemies Foreign And Domestic" in a nutshell.

In the novel, all that you discuss comes to pass.

Ad hoc coordination would be possible, but is unlikely (although there is a bit of it in my novel). Any established group is likely to be well penetrated.

More effective because it is virtually unpredictable and unstoppable is the singleton who rises at midnight, takes a rifle from a cache, and is back in bed before dawn. Even if he only goes on one mission, or perhaps especially if he only goes on one mission.

Time thousands of course. That's a chapter in my novel, where the gun grabbing senior polidiot meets her demise at the wrong end of a hundred year old Mosin-Nagant from 500 yards away.

The Ninth Circus Court is a urine-stenched roadstop that you pass on the way to your real destination, the Supreme Court. When you have to stop in, don't make eye contact with the perverts and get in and out of there as fast as you can.

Yeah, I read that chapter at about 3AM last night (thanks a bunch - couldn't you write crappy, uninteresting stuff?).

Seriously, some of those old (and very cheap) rifles can be astoundingly accurate. Generally firing very serious cartridges, when a hit is made it is devastating.

More effective because it is virtually unpredictable and unstoppable is the singleton who rises at midnight, takes a rifle from a cache, and is back in bed before dawn. Even if he only goes on one mission, or perhaps especially if he only goes on one mission.

AKA "leaderless resistance." Probably it is the most effective course of action, on a man-for-man basis. However, I still think that some of the ex-special forces types would coordinate a bit - they know each other and know how to check on each others' bona fides. Either way, their opponents will be worm $hit if and when the balloon goes up

Judges and justices are serving terms for "good behavior", not for life. Blackrobes so active in the destruction of our Constitution are seditious enemies of the People. The lawful authority is our Constitution which they desperately want to rewrite from the bench. Such judges have the stage, not the power to nullify our rights affirmed by our Constitution. These blackrobes would never get their utopian power agenda adopted by amendment or constitutional convention.

Dead serious impeachment articles should be drawn for members of the 9th, as soon as Lott is riden out of town on a rail, with or without tar and feathers.

This republic can not withstand another sham impeachment fix.

Of course our aim is deterrence, to prevent the $#!+ for brains gun grabbers from pushing us too far.

649,000 irregular Constitutionalists as living proof for Chaos Theory value...

No protection detail can defend against the random step. Everyone would prefer a lockstep army as enemy, but an uncounted "poorly regulated" militia, a really pissed militia at that?

Raiding NRA and GOA members' homes would be as smart as pulling a JBT 1993 Branch Davidian style raid on a regional gunshow. Free peoples are predictably unpredictable, especially when protecting their families while competently armed.

Birthrights under God are a life and death matter, as is our Bill of Rights.

All I have to say is I hope somewhere in your book you have a spot for an old .303 Enfield. this is one of the most common ex-military cheap deer rifles in the world. It hits like a .308 but there are millions which the BATFE has never gotten the numbers on file.

As to ex SF really doing their thing while such is possible it would not be formal. Most of the former special warfare types I know would be very very leary of any coordinated action per se. Who do you trust is a very small group but in my opinion there would be more than a few stikes by these people acting alone most of the time.

The coordination would probably come later but still be limited in scope. There would also evolve sort of an underground railroad to dome of the Rocky Mountain states and maybe even to Alaska.

Stay well - Stay safe - Stay armed - Yorktown

Lancey Howard: Gets down to what it's all about, doesn't it? Making the wrong move at the right time.

Cincinnati Kid: Is that what it's all about?

Lancey Howard: Like life, I guess. You're good, kid, but as long as I'm around you're second best. You might as well learn to live with it.

To me the Ninth Circuit is prime evidence of extraterrestrial life. Not intelligent life, mind you, but alien lifeforms of some kind.

Thank you!
That brief dialogue at the end of the movie is why I chose the screen name.

"You're good, kid, but as long as I'm around you're second best. You might as well learn to live with it."

Yep. Figured I may as well go with a winner.

Plus, Edward G. Robinson has always been one of my favorite old-time actors, along with James Cagney, Dick Powell, Robert Donat, Bogey, and Coop.

To th author regarding this idea...

The truly insane are not consistent, since they are divorced from reality and their personal constitution with regard to natural law is by organic fiat. That is, as their brain chemistry changes from nutrition, drugs and so forth, they will experience variable mental states which should therefore yield variable approaches to dealing with reality.

It is not chemistry which so causes inconsistency in the insane or unstable. Rather, it is the confusion of seemingly incongrous data which one recievs when operating from false premises. One believes action x will yield result y, yet it does not.

I imagine bill clinton has developed a complex series of rationizations explaining why he consistently lost at the Supreme Court 9-0, for example.

Don't forget George Raft, who, by some accounts, was more involved with mobsters than just in his screen roles.
