Look at the MESS Trent Lott has gotten us into. I am just furious. Just furious!

You and I both!! This whole thing makes me so mad and even though I'm ticked all the parties involved - the press, the liberal race baiters from the Congressional Black Caucus, the conservative pundits, etc. - I'm most pissed at Lott. He created this mess.

Just called my Republican Senator. His office is receiving numerous calls. They are making a tally. Keep Lott as ML or get rid of him. The calls are not pro-Lott. I asked that the republican caucus meet (this) year and do its work. They should have gotten rid of Lott years ago. It was the East Coast moderate so-called republicans that kept him in office. He was an incompetent years ago, I always shuddered when I heard him speak. Never to know what kind of stupid remark would come out of his mouth.

True, praising Strom Thurmond on his 100 birthday was so much worse than Byrd calling some folks white niggers.....no doubt about it. After all, the media is telling us that's so and we go dutifully along with them. What good sheeple we are!
