I agree with everything you said except I believe him when he says that he doesn't deal drugs. He's a user though, otherwise he would have agreed to take the drug test that his opponent (in the last election) challenged him to take.

There was a black Democrat on a call-in show yesterday that said that Campbell was "a complete embarrasment" and said the Repubs can keep him and "good riddance."

Some of larry's homies were dealing on the front porch of his (welfare) crib. The po-lease showed up, the homies go inside, larry (councilman larry) comes out and the po-lease leave - all Caught On Tape. He's the kingpin: has his mules do the work for him. He steps in when the heat gets too hot. You will notice larry has never been arrested by city po-lease since becoming Councilman Kwadjo: it's always the county po-lease that put him up at the graybar hotel. There's some interesting mugshots of larry floating around from back in the day - I think he beat up a teacher or something for one of his arrests. He's a perfect representative for the East Side, but the Republican's should not allow him to be in the party.

Interesting, why doesn't some reporter do a "spotlight" series on this situation?

When it happened, it was covered fairly extensively, except by jive 5 news. The reporter from channel 4 was all over local talk radio and in the papers.

Hollings, as far as I know is not running for the Senate again. But with Hollings, you never know what he will do. I just had a chill run down my spine - what if Campbell is elected and then goes back to the dem side of the aisle?

I wonder who he knows in the Black Caucaus there?

I don't know a whole lot about him and am going to make it a point to learn more now. He has been in the news a good bit, but I've never paid much attention to him. Bombastic, he huffs and he puffs, but I don't think he's blown many houses down.

Liberty Hill, Union Heights, the Neck which are all part of North Charleston. Campbell has no authority there. East-side and parts of the West-side of Charleston all need to be perked up. All of these areas have a large degree of welfare receipients.

It was why the Republicans were founded. It is why the Republicans fought and died against the Democrat Party Confederacy slave owners. It is why the Republicans voted for Civil Rights laws in the 1960's defeating massive Democrat Party opposition.

Sen. Ford campaigned AGAINST the black lawyer who became the Darlington county state senator by beating a white lawyer, son of the deceased Senator. The new Senator, Malloy, has no use for Ford. I think it is a healthy sign that the blacks are splintering for their common good. Maybe it wont be a monolithic vote forever.
